carrier tier match system

when i m playing 6 tier CV , i m matched to 8 tier game. ( most of ships belong tier 8). and There's hardly anything i can do. WHY WG doesn't fix this crap? and , yeah of course, i sold my CV after this.

it isn't just CV.  all the ships are prone to being uptierred now.   so  you adjust or stop playing it.     I am glad you sold it though.   One less  CV player to deal with.

Carrier on the opposing side should be tier 8 as well.

 

If not the matchmaking just messed itself hard, and there really is nothing to do but just die as fast as possible and move onto a more fair match.

I thought they just recently fixed it that carriers must be matched, because an imbalanced carrier fight is most likely a lost match.

 

I meant tier 6. If he was a tier 6 carrier, the opposing carrier should be forced to 6.

Tier 6 is a hard spot for CVs. Tier 8 AA is just oppressive with the small hanger size. It really should be the last tier with +1 mm for CVs.

 

That being said those games are the only games that the other CV might be your best target. That and spot spot spot. Combined with shooting down planes, even float planes you can male meh loot and ok xp

Matchmaking as a whole needs to be remade. Stock Fusou against T8 BBs...  It just doesn't work.

The main problem is with small hangar and weak planes only secondary. The tier 7 carriers, even when 2-tiered, can put up a fight by their sheer hangar size that let them replenish to full 3 times or so.

It was a Tier 6 CV. He meant a Tier 6 CV in a Tier 8 match

I keep getting it with warspite every game tossed in with t8 bbs that maul me at any range or angle, go after dds with uptiered in cv thats all you can do until ahips take dmg to aa modules near end of game

Ya t6 CV vs t8 AA. In those games it's not uncommon for me to have 2-3 times spotting damage than actual damage. It can be a real pain when the red DDs realize what you are doing and stay within their team's AA bubble.
