Extra ARP commanders

This is not a complaint. I am only curious if there is a way to rid of these extra ARP commanders?

 

This event has replaced all my less than 10 skill pt commanders, but now I have all these extra ARP commanders that demand to be released back into the Matrix. Before y'all suggest I work different skillsets on them, realize I dont play as often as I would like to properly level my main commanders, much less all of these SPARE ones. Perhaps there is some plan by WG to eventually allow us to purge some of these?  Either way, I am only curious.

Read awhile that it is an issue they are aware of, and they are working it. No source materials to cite though, just from memory.
