Welcome Aboard! Don't worry about stats for the first 1,000 games or so, just have fun. Try a bit of everything. That is what most of us hhave done. You will get the hang of things. Use the search feature, there are tons of posts on techniques and tactics that will pay dividends in gameplay.

...You played 3k games, a lot more than I do...

Can't really tell by stats alone...

I would guess your setbacks is due to a mix in lack of gunnery marksmenship(indicated by main battery hit ratio), teamplay, situational awareness, and navigation correction(indicated by survival ratio and Kill/Death Ratio)

Hello fellow Canadian Eh?

I had a really hard time and really sucked bad for a long time. My stats still show it. While I am still not "great", I find I do contribute more to teams now rather than before. I recommend watching iChase on Youtube. Lots of his videos will teach you things. I figured out how to better hit cits and use torps from him as well as better ways to set up my ships both with the upgrades and captain skills. He really is a true resource of knowledge and breaks it down as if you are just chilling having a chat over a coffee. He never comes off as all knowing or pretentious, and he is Canadian as well. Really good vids to watch and I truly attribute watching his vids to making me passable from laughable.

Seriously, check out his Youtube channel, you won't be disappointed in what you learn.
