Sorry if this was posted before but wow, I was waiting for this. 

 "Fixed a long-standing bug where damage from fires and flooding would do one extra "tick" of damage. Now, the damage stops immediately after you activate the "Repair Party" consumable." -Patch note for PTS 5.16

 

It may not sound like much but I have had a handful of times where a tick of fire/flood has sunk me when I repaired ASAP. Still might have died but maybe not to the guy who got the DoT on me. :sceptic:

Yea.  I've died to that last tick plenty of times.  ... ... ...

Boy, I sure could have used that Saturday when my Sims died from 2 fires at the end of the match a split second after hitting my damage control.

 

If it had worked, I would have gotten away with some 120 HP but would have survived none the less.

If they could only fix the bug where you fire torpedoes, hear the sound if them hitting the water, count to 1, get killed, and your torpedoes don't launch. Completely negating your last ditch suicide torp run.

It kinda looks like one in my opinion. If you launch torpedoes from a quad launcher, it takes longer to get the last torpedo on the water than a triple. If you get killed before all your torpedoes get to the water, the torpedoes that should have already been launched before the last one just seem to disappear. If it's intended I don't know, but it's sure a huge hit on this game's immersion

I could have sworn that they tried to fix this in a patch a year ago.  Imagine my surprise this past month when I repaired at the very last moment and then there was a tick...boom.  

 

I wonder if it will actually be fixed this time around.

I for one am glad this is a bug and that its being fixed. It has killed me about a dozen time. 

So many times I'm pushing the damage control trying to beat the DOT while watching my health approach zero. And than damage control comes off cool down and I'm saved with just a sliver of hp left.

BOOM! Sunk. :facepalm:

 

WG should compensate players for the pain and suffering this bug has caused. 

I think 50k Free Xp would go a long way to removing the pain that has been inflicted on us. :trollface:

I always blamed it on latency... so it was really a bug? That's nice

 

Same thing I wrote it off as until now, this'll be a welcome fix.

They can now take that 2 second delay off smoke cool down anytime.
