I need some advice.

I seem to have settled in the 54-55% WR bracket and I wonder if I could possibly do something to get better. Is there anyway you guys could look at my warshiptoday stats and construe them into valuable advice? I seldom play in a division with friends so that could be one of the reasons I'm stuck where I am. Or maybe I'm just exactly where I should be and it's no use doing anything about it!

I am of the mindset you can always do better. Better gunnery, positioning, etc.

All I can really recommend is a read through this neat little thread by LittleWhiteMouse on controlling your win rate. It has some good advice for working on boosting your personal performance over all.

55% is about what you can expect if you don't ever team up with others or go to lower tiers to stat pad. People that pull in the 60%+ win rate (most... not all, but most) seal club and/or team up with other good players to make sure they have the best chance possible to win a game in spite of being saddled with a potato team. 

 

Statistically, a dead average player that never stat pads or divisions will come in at 50% win rate. 55% totally solo with no clubbing is not at all bad.

lucky you, I can get above 52% but then fate strikes me with bad luck/teams, I'm now sitting at 51.8% WR

Assuming you are fighting in random battles, try  figure out what needs to be done to win on each map and get your team to help do it. When you spot a trap, see a weak spot or an undefended CAP, don't just react, tell everybody else what you see. I know it is like herding cats to get a team to follow directions, but it might help. Almost no matter how good you are, if your team sucks, you will lose.  For this to work, you need to be a fast typist and have a receptive team. Screaming that they are all incompetent noobs is no help at all. You have to tell them what they can do to not be incompetent noobs.

Well, you do realize that to move up even 1% in WR, you're going to have to really really pull up your WR. That's because you have soooo many battles now that you're fighting your own WR record.

 

You're a good player. A solid player.

 

I suggest not worrying about it.

You're doing fine, it's that with your high battlecount it's going to take a lot of continues wins to make it continue to rise at a fast rate.

It takes forever to move it up past that point.

 

Some Captains will delete their accounts and start over with the knowledge they've gained to achieve higher percentages.

I'll give you a standard reply: upload a couple of your average games. Not games where you know that you derped and died. Not games where magically everything you did was right, all your shots were citadels, etc. No, just regular games. Other people will take a look at give you feedback.

 

Bonus points if you upload videos (e.g. on youtube or other hosting service) instead of replays, a lot more people will look at them then.

You perform significantly better in cruisers and are struggling with IJN DD which you have been playing a lot of. Maybe IJN DD arent for you, they are not the easiest ships to carry in. Try the US and RU lines, much more versatile for solo play, especially USN
