This time around, there's an interesting ship in the playtest list: Now, to be fair, they did make changes to audio message precedence rules that they might be wanting people to test (IJN carriers have the most squadrons, and therefore the most voices trying to play). Oh, good call. I just noticed there's two sets of patch notes posted. My fault for reading the main ones and not the "preliminary" ones, I guess. Time to hurry up and keep waiting for real news then.
