It Is Time to Remove Standard Battle

When will Standard Battle be removed. It is the absolute worst game mode ever. I will take Epicenter over this mode any day of the week.

 

You completely invalidate all reason and strategy. The team that camps the base more is the one that wins.

 

You invalidate any sort of short-range ship and demand that people snipe in the back.

 

This mode needs to just be removed. Domination should be the main game mode with Epicenter thrown in for extra. But Standard Battle needs to go.

Domination is pretty garbage when you have a DD disadvantage or if your team dies to early.  

 

at least in standard battle there are more chances for comebacks then just flat out loosing the game.

Epicenter actually gives good XP for both teams if they both actually play and don't camp. Standard gives the least based on what I've seen, and Epicenter the most (potentially).

Oh, I forgot no DDs simply camped behind the big island in the center. Both maps they are put on are terrible. The only map epicenter would work on fairly is Ocean, with the center cap being 5km diameter.

I'm so salty of that bloody map...

I usually got into that map either in my Iowa, bismarck or Moskva, and in my bbs I only dare to push when I have vision provided by either aircraft(who still plays cvs anyway) and dds...

And I looked at our teamlist: X Shimakaze VIII Benson VIII Kagero, enemy teamlist: X Khabarovsk VIII Akizuki VIII Tashkent...

FML.

 

In my Moskva I either die by camping bbs while trying to use my radar, or get witherer medal every game and lose a glorious defeat...

Hence why there needs to be a MM change so there are always the same number of DDs on each team. Having 1 less DD but 1 more cruiser instantly puts your team at a disadvantage.

Absolutely hate Domination, Standard is much better because the teams tend to split up less. Nothing worse than 5 groups of 2 ships going all over the map. That's a great way to get killed and lose the game.
