ARP 1-401

What is this type and when do we get ours, if ever. 

Yes, I completed the ARP challenge and already had the tier 8 Takao but was issued captains for 2 tier 11 ARP 1-401 ships for completing task 5 and haven't found the ships in my inventory yet.

 

Are these for the future or what?

ARP captains are interchangeable, and reading would save you a lot of trolling....

The I-401 is pretty much useless, we're not ever getting it.

There are no tier 11 ships in game nor will be by my estimates. The explanation has been that it is a placeholder for adding the new ARP ships/captains.

BTW, it's "I-401" as in "i-401", not 1-401

 

I-401 was the largest submarine ever made in WW2.

It was large, because it carried three seaplane bombers.

It's primary purpose was to attack Panama Canal and stall quick transfers of ships between Atlantic and Pacific.

I-401 is the ship the protagonists use in the manga / anime. It's referred to in game purely as a reference, and does not mean there are or will ever be subs.

I-401 = Submarine (never gonna happen)

her Captain in Arpeggio of Blue Steel was Chihaya Gunzo; and her Mental Model was Iona. you get free extra ARP captains to train so you can run different setups and get amusing voices and hopefully nerd out a little bit if you liked the show. That's really all there is to it, imo.

I've had ARP ships long before this last give away and know the Capts are interchangeable.

Knowing we had no tier 11 yet I just thought I'd find out what's up.

The I-401 in game is simply a troll by WG, it's also used for Captains.

 

There will never be subs in this game.
