I would recommend giving these two ships preferential match making.  Both ships struggle in the hands of average players presently, and both are pretty screwed by the match maker by being continually drug up to t7 games.  Given all the threads on the T5 MM, it seems pretty clear there is a market of people who WANT to play those tiers.  Why not let them wallet warrior their way in, and increase sales of these poor performers while you're at it?  Seems like an everyone wins scenario to me.

Simple solution delete the ships from sale and refund those whom bought this crap with out a preview.

I got the Krasny knowing full well I was not going to have an easy time of it. Seeing tier 7 makes it a lot more painful at how the ship underperforms in most circumstances.

Are you happy with your cash purchase and would you have bought it with a preview battle first?

My sims is tier 7 and always in tier 9 battles if i had known this i would not have bought it.

I can't speak for the kreme but:

Marblehead was a version of the best tier 5 cruiser with more guns, less AA, and different torpedoes. Back in the day it was a very good ship that was very rare.

But tier 5 cruisers are the strongest example of power creep right now, ranges have extended and more modern designs are in play, not to mention the current MM for tier 5-6. I would suggest a range buff or a torpedo buff to the Marble but nothing else is truly necessary, it has super high velocity shells from a lot of guns with a great rate of fire.

The Marblehead is fine, it's the same as the B hull Omaha except with worse torps (that you're screwed if you have to use anyways), but I haven't played the Krasny Krym so I can't comment on that.

I am saddened by the lack of relative effectiveness but made my purchase and hope for a balance improvement. And I do not want my money back.

As for Sims, nobody said the sims was a strong ship, its a fun ship. And tier 7 MM is some of the best right now.

The guns do nothing damage wise just a joke in reality.

The marble is simply cannon fodder for the enemy team and a easy obvious first target kill.

If you dont get some smoke or help close to cap you are finished 1 hit.

The marblehead is worth $2 max maybe less.

Marblehead suffers from the same thing as the Pensacola, but even worse. She gets spotted 1km before she can even open fire.

I think you are experiencing a slight case of confirmation bias, and out of your 1,300 battles with it and your 44% win rate and low damage: probably a lot of captain error as well.

I would like to point out that Marblehead is The Best overall tier 5, stats wise. Its guns have that incredible fire rate with a good fire chance and its AP will eat broadsides alive. But yes, they are small guns and they act like it.

The game is overal +2 / -2 tiers except tier 5 thats +2-1 , you should have known this if you have grinded anything besides buying ships

Also it counts at what time of day you play , of course that with 2-4k players you will see +2 more often

Sims 1 v 1 best dd at that tier under 7km , second is blys is the best overal at range followed close by Leningrad/Kiev/Mahan

Marblehead was one of the best cruisers alongside Murmansk/Omaha, that till the new MM made it so you see more tier 7s also Marble was free so for free was good

No, it's not a B hull.  I am not sure where people get this idea from.  It's an A hull with C hull hitpoints and seamines instead of torpedoes.  if people are going to supply information, they need to make sure they are correct.

Yes for Krasny Krym, no for Marblehead. Marblehead is an alternative B-Hull Omaha with some slight differences. It's a perfectly normal T5 cruiser with excellent stats thanks to the quality of the players who have/play it.

OTOH Krasny Krym is a slightly upgraded T4, basically a T4.5 D-Hull Svietlana that sees ships TWO tiers higher.

Sort by two weeks instead of lifetime.  Marblehead did well in the old days, before the captain skills got nerfed.  Now the ship struggles.  It's very low on plays/week, and it's damage isn't good either.  The reason the stats are what they are, is because there is a small group of skilled players who fell in love with the ship in the old days and still make it work.  Your average player will not touch it anymore.

That is not correct.  Marblehead is NOT a B hull Omaha.  it's an A hull.  It's stats are not excellent, it hardly gets played anymore.  It's stats are bloated by a few skilled players who still stick to it.

Yep stock A Hull with the FCS to match. Only way to get good damage with Marblehead these days, island hump and ambush or have a skipper with CE so you can actually get into firing range before being spotted.

Tier 7 gets to be top tier a disproportionate amount, it will still see T9 of course but it's the easiest matchmaking by far. It's also the first tier which gets to be up by 2 tiers.

Matchmaking spreads 4-5-6 and 3-4-5 no longer exist, so there are more T5 and T6 ships looking for games with ships of higher tiers, and ending up in 5-6-7 matches.

T9 saw 299,000 games in the last 2 weeks. T7 saw 758,000 games. T7 is a big popular tier where the higher ones are far less so and will disproportionately again see itself top tier.

It's not an A hull or a B hull. I said "alternative B-hull." It's got B-hull health and guns, with A-hull AA and rudder shift. The range is upgraded too. The torps are terrible and on C-hull launchers, but that's a separate issue.

+2 / - 2 is actually in the minority.

T1: +0 / -0

T2: +1 / -0

T3: +1 / -1

T4: +1 / -1

T5: +2 / -1

T6: +2 / -1

T7: +2 / -2

T8: +2 / -2

T9: +1 / -2

T10: 0 / -2

Stick AFT and DE on the Krym and becomes the fire-breathing killer beast from 16KM hell.

Last match -winning- I was 2nd place with 1 kill, 15 fires, and 38K damage....   AND THAT WAS A TIER 7 MATCH.

I believe my kill was a Kamikaze R

Set up right, it's the Atlanta without the shell arcs.

Marblehead got played less than 3k times in the last two weeks.

And in those games it had a 51.87% WR, second only to the Murmansk in WR and damage for a T5 cruiser.

literally every review said the krispy kreme was the worst premium, and potentially the worst ship ever. I saw videos with jingles and notser basically running around and being literally ineffective at EVERYTHING with that boat.

Marblehead. I got it because I liked the design, heard it would be a solid performer, and believed so long as I tanked with the bow and the front-5 guns that it would be a good performer; but landing in a T6-T7 match means it gets Deleted with some alacrity EVERY match. I probably have played it once in the last 6 months. yeah, gimme my money back :P  I don't ever remember it having torps....

**Sims: I love this ship. solid torps, great manuverability and smoke. I play more of a support role and smoke for BBs who over-extend so they can stay in the fight longer so my rating is garbage with her.

Krasny Krym is better than Marblehead anyway, so it's irrelevant.
