I don't foresee anything other than the Graf Zeppelin being added as a premium, and not until WG is happy with the state of CVs.

USN carriers used to have jets, but they were replaced with prop planes. I would not count on WG giving the German carriers jets.

Graf at tier 6, you're drunk.

Any carrier other than Graf existing in the game, you have a drinking problem. We all love you and want you to know how your problem has affected us.

Germany only ever had two CV plans that I know of and only one (Graf Zeppelin) was ever built. the GZ was never even fully equipped with planes and manpower let alone used in actual combat. IIRC they sailed her into a Russian port and scuttled her.

WG already unofficially officially confirmed that the GZ will be the only German CV and it will be a premium. I'm thinking around tier 5-8 but nothing confirmed yet.

As for jets no. Simply No. Unless something changed without me realizing it no other nation has jets. Besides the fact that as far as I can recall 262's never actually carried any type of bombs (at least not any large enough to do much of anything to a ship) let alone torpedoes. Yea they would be great fighters but they would be stupidly OP

If you are going to do a thread like this supply your sources of information!

Really??????? NEVER go by only what Wikipedia says.

I don't know what school you went to however you are seriously missing the basics. 1) Never use wikipedia 2) If you must use wikipedia never use ONLY wikipedia 3) Always use multiple sources 4) NEVER USE WIKIPEDIA

To be honest schools have rules against using Wikipedia because it's too easy, not because it's inaccurate. They want students to do research, not just browse one website.

Most wikipedia article vandalism gets reversed very quickly and the articles are usually heavily cited. You can always just check the citations at the bottom, too.

Of course this is a general rule and there are articles that are full of false or poorly researched info, but these are rare and should not be considered "the norm".

That is true however that doesn't change the fact that no matter what kind of article or thread you are writing you should always use more than one source. That doesn't mean just use the citations at the bottom of the wiki page but actually do some research!

I checked the souses They check out but  wiki is a good starting point

Good starting point yes by all means but don't just use wiki.

As for your original post I will say simply do more research. Good start but it lacks a lot of info that could be helpful!

Eh, there's been some full write-ups about possible German CV line choices, but currently, WG said they won't be doing a German CV line for a long time*; and only Graf Zeppelin will appear as a Premium in the T7-8 bracket.

*Long time meaning not until they get out the British DD, CV, and BB lines along with the French and Italian DD, BB, and cruiser lines.  French and Italian CVs are also debatable and ultra low priority.

I don't think the Stuka had an E variant in production.

The Stuka C and D4 could carry torpedoes however.

As far as Wikipedia, one of my brothers in law is a college professor, and he gives out assignments where the information on Wikipedia is wrong to trap lazy students. Never use it as a primary source

Graf Zepplin fits at T7. You could add Peter Strasser as an alternative (improved GZ) at T8. Project AIII and AIV were large hybrids (40,000 tonnes-2 triple 8-inch turrets-28 aircraft and 70,000 tonnes-1 quad 11 inch turret-50 aircraft respectively) with a flight deck and turrets. There were three small carrier projects (design studies only), from 12,750 tonnes to 22,200 tonnes (EIV, EV and EVI) carrying between 10 and 25 aircraft-armed with 6-inch secondaries. That would cover off everything from T4 to T10, depending on how you place them in the Tech Tree. Source is German Capital Ships of World War Two, Chapter 6-M.J Whitley. Hybrids with cruiser or battlecruiser armor and guns would add a weird flavor to the game! Would be fun to play!

Edit: The Stukas used to attack the RN when the Lufwaffe entered the fight in the Med in 1941 were the navalized version, two Gruppen of them, trained for attacking ships

Last word on the topic of KM CV was that the Graf Zeppelin will be the only one as a premium 2017.

If WG can churn out a Russian BB line, then they can create a German CV line easily. That said, don't expect to see it any time soon.

Considering the citations at the bottom of a Wiki page are the exact same sources you'd check for this kind of stuff anyway, I fail to follow your logic of "Don't check citations on wiki pages".

This is research. And I'm not writing an essay or report for you so I don't have to conform to your rules on what does and does not count as "legitimate" research.

So I have been looking around Wikipedia and found some CVs to make a German line so here.

IV. aircraft carrier I (1939)

this thing need a new name but it has FI 167 torpedo bombers and HE 51 fighters no dive bombers though

V. aircraft carrier II

same as the last one but BF 109 Cs for fighters and Stukas as dive bombers

VI. Graf Zeppelin

Has BV 155 fighters and JU 87 Es as torpedo bombers and JU 87 Cs as dive bombers

VII. that one hipper class that got made in to a aircraft carrier

same load out as the Graf Zeppelin but with more aircraft

VIII. Jade

A really big Graf Zeppelin

IX. the tier nine BB made in to a CV

Pulled this one out of my [edited]but yeah

X. the tier ten BB turned in to a CV

again pulled this out of my [edited]but it has ME 262s :-)

let me know what you think

Mmmhh.....
