2016 saw a great number of changes in World of Warships. A great many in my personal life too, but that's for a different post.

One major thing that can be said is that 2016 was the year of the ARP. There was much grinding, many fires were set, even a few bridges burned here on the forums, but that's all about to be over.

I'm sure there will be another collaboration next year, and I think that it will be mostly be set up as part of the campaign system. That would allow those who despise it to opt out.

Any thoughts on what kind of collaboration next year might bring to WoWS?

My dearest hope, unfrak the carrier situation.

asking too much, you get a dragon and a unicorn for Christmas instead :P jokes jokes I agree it would be nice to see a retooling and re-balancing of the Carriers.

Haifuri is the collaboration for next year.

And, thank RNGesus, they've also promised a CV overhaul

They did for 2016 as well. :hiding:

I'm hoping for clans and competitive tier IX and/or X play. I never got into it in WoT (only slightly above average player), so I'd like to give it a go in WoWS, just got work on my tier IX-X play...

One of the big changes ...finally..... is the viability of tier 10. Very nice to see so many tens lately. Wargaming does listen to it's players ...Thankyou!

They promised a CV overhaul for 2016 and then all that carriers got in 2016 were nerfs and nerfs disguised as buffs.

2017 in this light looks pretty bleak.

Lol, you wish. Hopefully it will encourage CV play again when it's finished.

I would like for the new year wg to stop giving with 1 hand and then taking back with 4 thanks and merry xmas.

Obviously the 1% sale is due to wg's turkey or maybe the 1% was the turkey? :red_button:

Come january 1st lets get a better marketing team and fire all the old staff :tea_cap: .

Thats all.

Stronk, unnerfable Soviet BB meta, complaining about HE Spam, British CVs that are 1000% tougher than their cruisers, German DD complaining, nerf BB rudder shift time again.

Same ol', same ol'.
