German BBs are reliably hard to mess up at tiers 6-8 because the armor is easy to angle, they have good secondaries/torpedoes, and are decently fast for their tier.

Im loving the Amagi, so much so that ill be keeping her and getting a new captain when (if) i move on to the Izumo.  Scharnhorst is alot of fun, and i really need to get back to playing her.

Thats really  it for me.  Haruna is the only other battleship i really enjoy playing.

German BBs are the most powerful and very easy to play. Armor is very forgiving. Particularly the Bismarck.

I'd say the japanese, reliable from 6-8

shotgun fuso

classical layout Nagato

fast sniper BC Amagi

while the playstyles vary with each tier, each ship offers a pleasant experience to grind out. Not the slowest, have decent lvl of armor, and with the Amagi, stellar torp protection. AA is a mixed bag but workable. The 406 guns pack a punch, secondaries are workable (not german lvl but still better than US)

germans, while they have armor, dispersion can be very frustrating to work with, AA is only good at long range, doesnt have consistency of the USN, and the lack of the 406mm upgrade is noticeable when fighting others who have it.

What about Colorado, Warspite, Fuso, Nagato, Amagi and NC?

Colorado is amazing, hits like a truck with penetration for days, but you asked for easiest. You need to be a decent shot and good at shimmying to play the Colly. NC and Amagi do not have forgiving armor, but their guns are both great. Fuso is great, but its armor is lacking and its guns can be like throwing gravel. Warspite's turrets are slower than molasses and it's DPS isn't great. Nagato is fine, but I'd take the Colly over it. New Mexico is like a Fuso with better armor and a slower reload, if you think the NM is accurate I am curious what you find inaccurate. Dunkerque is hella fun, but is a battlecruiser that requires a lot of skill. Arizona is a slightly better NM effectively, so that's a premium option. But German BBs are by far the EASIEST.

Other than the Germans, can the Fuso / Nagato, Colorado / NC, and Warspite brawl?

USN can brawl against IJN ships effectively, no one beats the Germans in a brawl though. Warspite is a sniper.

DON'T LISTEN TO THESE FOOLS!!!! you need only 1 ship and one ship only....... and that would be the mighty DUNKERQUE!!!!!!! VIVE LA FRANCE!!!!!! you will make mow down those peasant ships (DD's), and you'll make ZE not so mighty Germans at any tier surrender to your mighty 4x2 330mm guns, go forward with FRANCE AND NEVER SURRENDER!!!!!!

What about Colorado, Warspite, Fuso, Nagato, Amagi and NC?

Colorado is very slow and lacks HP so if you get caught alone you die and dont really have a choice, its strong if it has support but it gets focused down easily and cant reposition.

The Warspite has good guns and thats pretty much it, the rudder is slow although it turns well, the armor has lots of holes in it especially from the rear and takes random citadels, and the turrets are really slow. All that means that its very unforgiving for people if they get surprised by the enemy and it gets punished much harder than a NM or Bayern would if you get suprised.

Fuso is decent, it depends on guns instead of armor with a good reload and long range, its very long however and not very tanky.

The Nagato is decent nothing really wrong with it, it got an armor buff a couple patches ago so I dont know how tough it is now, used to be somewhat soft vs 16" guns.

Amagi is good although it has soft sides so you have to be aware, the guns are great and it has lots of them.

NC is good, its fast enough and has good guns and good maneuverability. In return the belt armor is thin and the shells are pretty slow but its not bad, its not hard to do ok in.

Other than the Germans, can the Fuso / Nagato, Colorado / NC, and Warspite brawl?

Nagato can "brawl" while she may lack HE firing secondaries that the Germans have, the high RoF AP pea shooters love to shred light armor or destroy other ship's AA/Secondaries. Armor isn't turtleback but it can absorb and take a hit.

NC brawling is dangerous due to the weak side armor belt which can be citadel'd by Cruiser AP. Plus NC/Colo dont really have a secondary armament that would make anyone wary of knife-fighting them

Easiest in my opinion is New Mexico -> Gneisenau -> Bismarck

Though, Colorado and North Carolina are not a force to be reckoned with in brawls.

Fuso is very powerful but it has growing pains, it has a very "Bruiser" style gameplay.

Nagato is similar to Fuso, but can be a bit more stable in brawls.

Amagi is in my opinion the best of the three Japanese ships listed, having enough firepower to take on anyone at any range but gets into some issues short range due to her ballistics.

New Mexico is bait, at first it seems she'd do well sniping, after all you've unlocked that range upgrade by now but she actually is very neat for brawls especially considering she has I believe the third highest torpedo defense.

Colorado is like New Mexico, but a bit more situational because you're subject to a lot more different kinds of threat.

North Corolina is practically a glass cannon, if you're too aggressive you'll get punished. If you're too conservative you also get punished. Follows the same kind of bruiser playstyle as Nagato and Fuso. Can be very potent at short range too, by not having the same issues as the Japanese ships at those ranges.

Bayern has some of the slowest turrets i've experienced, up there with Warspite (though not as slow,) as a result it's extremely difficult to track people at the brawling range, but she does have German secondaries which are the best in every tier.

Gneisenau and Bismarck are cut and dry brawlers, you have a MASSIVE advantage in close range being practically immune to citadels while having the strongest secondary armament in the tier. Gneisenau also has torps which help and Bismarck has sonar which has saved me a bunch of times.

Spoiler

NC brawling is dangerous due to the weak side armor belt which can be citadel'd by Cruiser AP. Plus NC/Colo dont really have a secondary armament that would make anyone wary of knife-fighting them

The main benefit US ships have in brawls and knife fights is their arcs, they don't have that pesky "lol you overpenned the citadel" problem because their shells have a steep enough arc even at that range to make the shell drop and bounce internally.

NM is a easy and well balanced ship at Tier VI, she is slow as hell but her guns pack a punch and her armour can take a punch so long as you angle her right.

Germans.  All other nations' BBs can be insta-deleted if you make a mistake and someone gets lucky.

New Mexico and Colorado are also hard to citadel.

accuracy - IJN

armor - KM

handling - USN

ease of play comes with MM. none of them are 100% easy to play all the time. it depends on what you're good at, and what the MM throws at you. (and how skilled the enemy is)

I have gone and played too many DD's so me playing BB is a joke.  I turn too much and broadside my ships before I realize I haven't turned much yet.  But I would go German.  Fuso is killing me.  NM has been decent.  Yes, easy because it is slow but whomps.  the ARP ships are Kongo.. I liked that one... SO Bayern and Kongo I like.. OK its NMex, Bayern and Kongo.. in that order  Fuso has sucked for me. really sucked, thus it was worth repeating.

I'm not a BB player at all but I do enjoy a good BB game once in a while. I've tried USN, IJN, and German. I reach for a german ship the most when I play a BB. Bayern is a great casual BB. It even punches above its tier rather well if played well. I've been deleting Nagato when they least expect it. They are right, very forgiving ship. Decent handling, turret rotation is not as slow as other ships and the secondaries are potent against DDs that want to try and chase you.

brawling is fun, but you have to limit it to proper situation. all the german ships setup with secondary spec can brawl pretty well. but you can do it in most BB as long as you angle well.     when I look at my t6-8 stat in BB, all 3 nations have similar dmg stat.   The key to colorado is premium repair and heal.  it is pretty tough ship and i enjoyed it despite its lack of speed.

Id say Bayern and New Mexico would be the easiest. Though Fuso isnt to be underestimated. Her armor is a bit thinner though so you have to play smart.

All the Tier 6 battleships are great. Bayern, NM and Fuso all are powerful ships that are only really hindered by their speed and larger caliber guns when uptiered.

For Tier 7 the Gneisenau is the best ship with the worse guns. Colo and Nagato both have excellent guns that are highly accurate. Scharnhorst is still best ship though :D

Tier 8 is pretty close imo. I don't have the credits to buy the Amagi yet but both the NorCal and Bismarck are excellent ships. NorCal is easy due to going bow on with those powerful 406s whilst the Bismarck is a freaking monster within 10km.
