Maybe it's a very real chance of seeing a Freemium T10 in Musashi?

Musashi is too featured in Haifuri for her to not be seen if they're doing a similar run as ARP.

They've got a bigger presence in the Manga, but the ARP Collab wasn't with the Manga [which, if you'd note, lacks the Ars Nova subtitle-- much like Full Metal Alchemist, they're divergent]. It was with the Anime.

I don't think WG would give a musashi, probably just make a skin for Yamato that people with a yamato can earn.

Even if there is a freemium T10, it won't be very attractive for the same reason as the current ARP ships... No camo, restricted captains, etc...

 

If you're worried about people in T10 that didn't "earn" it, they could always make that a T10 mission. Assuming that including something like Musashi is even on the table for WG, which it might well not be. That said, with the number of people at T10 with 30% winrates, I'm not worried about it one way or another...

A free tier 10 premium. WG won't do it. More than likely, if they did something like that, Clan Wars reward.  They are not going to hand over a free tier 10. Not a chance.

Really wondering whether they'd actually utilize Harekaze's upgraded gun configurations. Originally a Kagero (meh). Upgraded with the dual-mount 10cm guns found on Akizuki in the middle of the anime. Ends the anime with the single-mount 5"/54 guns (the secondaries on Midway).

Strongly disagree. Given the precedent that Arpeggio has set with 9 free ships and other assorted mission rewards, a mere lowly mod pack for less than a handful of ships people might not even own, would backfire spectacularly and fail as a promotion.

 

WG has set the bar high with ARP. It's free ships and skilled captains, or a bust of an event.

The ships in Haifuri look realistic(camouflage/paint wise), and the Graf Spee specifically, to my knowledge, carried a historical paint scheme. So in the very least, the ships won't look cartoonish.

Believe you're talking about World of Tabks Blitz. And they did a collab with Girls Und Panzer, which is just like Haifuri, but with tanks.

All 3 guns Harekaze used exist in-game, with the 5"/54s just needing a main gun work up (they're secondaries on Midway and Montana, IIRC).

 

Given that there's also far fewer ships to actually work with for this collaboration, it'd be nice if WG allowed Harekaze to have all 3 choices.

 

- Stock would be Kagero [C] as-is; just no camouflage option and no Premium benefits outside Haifuri captain swapping.

- Alternate gun option 1 is Kagero [C] with Akizuki's Type 98 100cm guns, but no other changes.

Beyond that, having Premium Spee and Haifuri Spee would be wonderful.  Though I feel Haifuri Spee wouldn't show up until near the end of the year-long collaboration, much like Takao did for the ARP collaboration.

 

Another Hiei would be fine too; just shift over neko ears or Sensei from their LCS command, or put Moka as captain (since it's unlikely we'd get Musashi).

 

I am hoping though that WG will also consider another Takao/Atago, as they were mentioned and at least shown off once.  Maybe assign Mashiro as a Captain too (along with a meta comment that she finally gets her own command).

Yep, they did. And they were straight up the VC tanks, not gimmicky skins.

 

I absolutely doubt Delphinus would appear here, but they could slap a $200 USD price tag on it and have it suffer with ARP-like restrictions and I'd still buy it.

The Haifuri school camouflage is pretty simple and straightforward, and so is Graf Spee's.  Should cause far less problems that the bright colors of the ARP ships for most (which was really the main complaint from non-fans).

Ah yes, this. I remember discovering this in the Haifuri thread while the show was still airing.

 

I'd love to see this too. It would be a good way to get another ship out of the collab, and a good nod to a hidden reference/cameo for the fans who watched the show.

I agree; as Harekaze, Graf Spee, and Hiei are all that's likely to show up for next year's collab if they ignored Takao/Atago/Chokai (not Maya though; since we never saw her).  That would round out nicely to 4 ships over the course of the collaboration; one roughly every 3 months, with Harekaze being the big gem of the group if WG gives her all 3 configurations.

 

The very first image I posted (post above yours in the spoilers) has two Takao-classes visible behind the Kagerous, and one of them had their bow shown in drydock (IIRC, one of the early episodes mentioning what ships were available to "hunt down" the Harekaze).
