Do you think there are a lot of bots in randoms?

I never really thought that there would be bots in random games...  maybe a few, but not many. Lately I have seen quite a few ships in battles 6-9 tiers that have no camo.... So I would ask and get no response. Last battle a guy said, they are probably bots... and it got me thinking. I asked the Baltimore on my team who had no camo, no response. I asked the Kagero on the other team, no response. 

 

It got me thinking.... were they all bots? 

 

I know some ppl forget to run camo, but I can't think of why you would not run camo if you could. The benefits out weigh the cost. 

 

Do you all think there are many bots in random games?  kinda bums me out now.....

Don't think about it too much. But the guy who called them bots basically got to you psychologically. Sure they're probably really bad players, but that doesn't mean they're truly bots. Bot behaviour usually involves them going straight to the other side to brawl. Play a few Co-op games and you'll see bot behaviour at work.

From my experience, I run into them every dozen battles or so. I usually just report them and thats it. It's easy to tell the difference between a derp, someone dc'd, and a legit bot.

one of them had 4800 battles with a 44.5% win rate. 0.40 K/D....     that scares just a tad.   I guess it is inevitable that there would be some bots. Just blows my mind that people would go through the effort of creating a program to play a game for them.... inst playing the game the point of having fun?

The worst I've seen over more than a thousand battles was 33%, and he wasn't a bot.  No joke.

Bots are surprisingly decent players all things considered. WG did have a big issue at one point because the bots where destroying coop teams and they had to nerf the AI.

Doesn't seem so. Then again we the players don't have the tools to be able to tell a bot from an AFK or a bad player. In fact, a bot that simply sails towards the enemy and shoots is likely to be better than many very real human potatoes out there,

wow... this is really starting to freak me out..  just got out of another battle.. this one our Akizuki had no camo...  start of game I ask him why, no answer. He pulls ahead and gets behind an island and just sits there.... after all us push the cap, he comes in .. gets killed.

I don't really play with camo on just because I don't have too much of them and I generally forget they exist when I go to enter a battle. There is nothing wrong with players that have no camo on.

I am of the Opinion "BOTS" don't exist in random battles (CO-OP different story)  and that this is all hear say and nonsense like the Loch Ness monster and Big Foot, they are either Mediocre to Bad players that just don wanna talk to you in chat or it's people having a bad day. I will believe in bots when i see undeniable proof.

I'll admit that sometimes I wonder.  Watched a Haku send all of its planes to the B point on Trap and then steam straight for it the other night.  Wasn't responding to chat.  Raised some questions.  lol

Plenty of times I forgot to out fit camo or that the camo I had one hand was gone and I turned off auto supply.

I don't run with camo often, and I rarely use the in game chat. I assure you I am not a bot. You all may as well be, for my purposes.

Could be new players, unlikely to respond, and not have much camo yet.

They do this so they can sell them after the bots have leached their way to the top tiers.

On a DD sure.  On a BB I am less than certain.
