Guess that didn't happen. Just played my tier viii N. Carolina, we won and I got 69000 credits, repair was 89000 credits. Makes me not want to ever take that ship out again. In fact I think I'm going to sell it and stay with the tier vi and lower ships. NO FUN AT ALL.

I've only recorded a credit loss once in my NorCar. Trust me, it gets better.

I don't have any experience with high tier BB's, but I can tell you the higher you go the worse it gets. WG has been back and forth changing incomes, but Idk if anything really every came from it. In my mind they added premium camo to help this, and make more money. The india Bravo Terrathree flag (-10% post service) is helpful. But recently, they switched over to a system where instead of paying a 'repair cost' you're now paying a flat fee, for entrance into the game. You could take 0 damage or 90,000 damage in your NC, you'll still pay 89,000 credits for 'repairs'. This new system is better, because it no longer punishes aggressive play and taking damage, and actually lets those that have sunk in high tier games turn a profit, so long as they did enough damage/caps/spotting/potential damage(tanking) to cover the base cost of the ship + consumables/camo + ammunition. So go out and be aggressive, push caps, spot ships, dodge/bounce incoming fire. It's really easy now to earn back that initial entrance fee, and once that's been earned, then everything else you do is profit. A simple answer to the OP - improve your skills = deal more damage = more credits, don't YOLO, learn how ships play at tier 8 in PvP as it's different to the lower tiers in PvP, etc. In short, accept how the game is put together and work around it, don't sulk because you lost all of 20k credits in a tier 8 game. Play random coz you'll keep losing credits if you keep playing with bots.I play T-9 bb and if I die (most likely my Izumo) I still have somewhat near 100k credits left. My credit maker is konigsberg, usually between 200k-300k if we won. Edited December 19, 2016 by Nimitz_Zumwalt
1,373 [INTEL] CapnCappy Members 3,265 posts 6,618 battles Report post #10 Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) High tier coop play is both tougher and more engaging. A potato victory is definitely not assured. OP, I suggest you watch some videos on proper BB play. You want to stay angled to the enemy, not show broadside. You want to prioritize your targets, which goes: DDs nearby, cruisers broadside, BBs broadside, cruisers, BBs, DDs. Often, you're better off holding your shots if a cruiser or battleship is turning to give you broadside. Frankly, OP, your KD and average damage is horrible, even for coop. I suggest going back to a lower tier like tier 4-5 and practicing before heading into T7+ where the bots are a lot harder. Once you consistently get a 3-5 kill game or deal more than 50K damage (in T4-5), then you're probably ready for higher tiers. Why am I talking about performance? Because that's how you print credits in coop. My Scharnhorst consistently gets 100-150K profit in a coop game. Edited December 19, 2016 by CapnCappy
