Yes the nerfs the odds to win have been cut approx 80% or more to the point of waste time to even try. I did do 3 containers per day all try your luck and 1 coin drop as the game went squidgy that time? Anyhow my first super since nerfs i expect crap just like wg's sales for xmas.

Yes the nerfs the odds to win have been cut approx 80% or more to the point of waste time to even try. It's a waste of time to click two buttons to get free loot? How entitled are you? They are literally giving you free stuff for doing nothing but playing the game which you do anyway yet you're here whining that it's not enough and you deserve more.

I've seen people in-game claim it lowers your chances; certainly seems that way sometimes

819 Aetreus Alpha Tester 4,302 posts 7,932 battles Report post #21 Posted December 11, 2016 I think that SC chances have a measure to prevent someone from getting either extremely lucky or extremely unlucky, there's probably some sort of count of how many it'll give you in a certain time period. That would align people having gotten several to start with and now fewer, and those who missed out still getting SC's pretty often.

In essence, near-nonexistent either way? I think they changed it. At 10%, people would be averaging more than one super container a week if they got at least 2 containers every day. And by and large I did that for the first few weeks, but then I have not gotten a single super container the last few patches. It would be curious to see what the data mining says now. I suspect it would be closer to 1-2%.

That would align people having gotten several to start with and now fewer, and those who missed out still getting SC's pretty often. If only. I've gotten 1 supercontainer ever and I'm pretty close to 100 crates. And it was dropped after this supposed "stealth nerf" to drop chances. I think they changed it. I'll wait for actual confirmation before saying anything, because the system always did nothing but flip me off. 2 GhostBunyip Members 45 posts 15,534 battles Report post #24 Posted December 11, 2016 (edited) My division mate and I got one each this evening/morning (50 ocean soul camos for him and 1000 dubloons for me). I haven't seen or heard of one for about two weeks, I was starting to worry they had been nerfed into extinction. I have a feeling that quite a few will be received this weekend. No evidence to support this. Just a feeling now that I've seen two in less than an hour. Ps: We both selected "try your luck", I normally go consumables or coins. 143 [RST] groomsiebelle Members 612 posts 15,178 battles Report post #25 Posted December 11, 2016 I have tracked from nearly the start for my own records...I have 4 SC in 50 TYL opened, and 2 SC in 85 non "TYL" opened. Assuming the TYL is double your chance, I'd expect 3 SC by the time I get to 100 "non-TYL" opened so I think I'm in the range to do that. Based on my numbers, it looks like and estimated 3.2% chance for "non-TYL" and (assuming double odds for tYL) 6.4% chance using TYL. This is consistent with the larger data set value of 6.1% on TYL found here (if you want to help actually collect data, enter your containers--all of them, as entering only supers only skews the data--here). What the above does not and cannot account for is if the odds have been changed since start of the new rewards container system. If they have changed then need to look for trend rates fro drops and see if there is a "knee in the curve" or something that would point to a shift. Again, there is data reported out there, if I have time maybe I'll try to sort through it. Meantime, I'm just enjoying a better rewards system that we had before containers.
