To me that is at least better than playing 10 battles and buying a tier 8 ship. No matter how bad some people may play, at least by the time they get to earning the free-Atago or other ARP ships they are going to absorb as much of how to play the game as they probably ever will. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

And you have to do it in a tier 6 or above. So anyone who does manage to grind their way takao will basically be halfway to a normal tier 8. 738 [HINON] 212thAttackBattalion [HINON] Members 2,642 posts 7,936 battles Report post #8 Posted December 10, 2016 Idk about you but most Takao players I meet in game tend to be mostly competent and get good results, and the grind for the Takao in Tier VI ships and above both ensures newbs and noobs don't get their hands on it before they're ready and to prepare the players for the high tier matches that come with the Takao. I'm going to admit that the Takao was my first taste of high tier game play as I only got as high as tier VI before i got it, so that might be why I'm disagreeing with you haha. but once i got past the shock of the tier jump i got pretty good at it and is a fairly forgiving ship to begin high tier gameplay with IMO. They want to get them into as many players hands as possible before the contract expires, figuring any slight damage to the tier 8 MM will quickly blow over, and not have to listen to as many. People won't know how to play upper tiers well until they GET INTO upper tiers. Lower tiers are useless at training for upper tiers because of different maps and different skill levels and strategies. Sometimes they will be on your team and a possible handicap, sometimes on the opposing team and you can farm damage. Just deal with it. The fact is that the missions this month are practically a giveaway compared to the original ARP Kongo missions or even the previous set. More damage and free kills for me. Until they are on your team and you are playing a DD and they are launching all of their torpedoes at targets 15km away with you in between. The show itself profiled mid to high tier ships for this game. 3. It takes actively trying to get better at this game in order to actually get better 4. The game is relatively new 5. The devs are advertising for this game now constantly 6. It's the holiday season. 7. They sell tons of mid to high tier premium ships all the time now. Conclusion: Playing this game for the win is practically a total waste of your time and frustration. Instead, you can only muster the self control to play this game only for constant personal self improvement. And I don't know how much time you're able to make available, but I only get maybe a couple 1-2 hour sessions in a week, with maybe a weekend 2-3 hour session.
