Would you want to see this? For around 1.4 million free xp I would definatly grind for it. I personally believe Kurfurst is a good ship but in all honesty when we heard the germen bb line was coming out this was the ship we all wanted for tier X. I think itd give experianced germen bb captains a good historical ship to both collect and use. Oh coursed itd have to be balanced because of its 17inch guns but I think itd make a great addition to the game.

What are your thoughts on this? I hope there are a lot of people who agree so maybe this idea can come true!

Missouri was only added because of Steven Seagal. I wouldn't count on seeing any other premiums above tier 8 for a long time.

Based on my brief reading from Garzke and Dulin, an H-41 would offer negligible improvement over the H-39 (Friedrich der Grosse) in game. The primary alterations are more deck armor, improved TDS, and boring out the 406 mm rifles to 420 mm caliber. Secondary armament remains the same and speed was reduced slightly due to increased displacement and draft. Based on my experience in the public test server, I can't see how the H-41 would be competitive at Tier 10 unless there are some major soft stat buffs compared to the H-39. As it is, the Friedrich der Grosse has the option to use H-41's 420 mm rifles.

First, welcome to the forums.  Not that I've spent an overly large amount of time here, but that's how it goes.

On topic, I think the German BB line is dandy as is.  I understand larger things were included in Plan Z, but the current line performs very well in the game.

That does not mean that there's no hope for an eventual branch off the current line, but I really wouldn't look for it for two or three years at the earliest.  They're new enough now and doing well enough in their own right that it's going to be a good long while before anything changes.

My suggestion is to enjoy the ships as they are, refine your ideas and participate as you feel comfortable in the wild crapshoot that is the forums.  One of these days you may well see things you've campaigned hard for show up in the game.  I've only been here for a little more than a year, and I've already seen dozens of suggestions taken from these forums, the Reddit page and affiliated / unaffiliated mod makers adopted in the game.

Thank you for the feedback, I woulda said the H-44 but wargaming stated that Yamato will forever hold the largest caliber guns in the game. And thanks for the welcome lol I intend to get a little more involed in forums instead of grinding my T8,9,10 germen bbs still the soviet bb line comes out

H-44 has no place in the game. it already exceeds the weight limit and caliber they want to limit ships to. There is also the fact everything above H-42, which may have even been a pipe dream as well, were literally just "we have no limitations, let's see how big we can go" ideas they had no intention of building.

I wanted H-41 as top tier German BB too but the developers said that it would be too weak for tier X, so they gave the tier IX H-39 the H-41 guns and came up with some preliminary H design proposal as basis for the Kurfurst.

Also, H-39 and H-41 and complete and finalized designs, with all details sorted out, while H-42 onwards are nothing more than concepts and studies. They are pretty much fantasy.

Kurfurst is an H-40B design with 16" turrets designed by Germany for Russia installed, according to what others have found.

H-41 would be a nice T9 FXP Premium, but an unlikely one given there really isn't much to make her more preferable to FdG/H39 as-is.

And the 17" guns are just rounded up from 16.5" anyways, which are in-game already as the 420mm cannons that can be used by both FdG and GK; trading RoF for damage (and I think velocity for more penetration; I forget what the other advantage of the smaller 16" were over the 16.5").

It's pretty fantastic what kind of crazy s--t people can come up with scribbling on a toilet paper:  "BEHOLD!  The mightiest Battleship that will ever set sail!"
