Training Room Question

I got the training room to load and work. But, I can't get the bots I select in the drop down list to show up in the team list. If I select, for example, a North Carolina as a bot, and click the double arrow to put it on the opposing team, pretty much anything else but a NC ends up on the team.

 

What am I missing with this?

I tried that. The whole bar with the drop down list, active/armed boxes and such moves. Nothing drops onto the list, the bar just goes back to its place.

While we are on the subject of training rooms, I can't seem to turn off bots firing for some reason (even with the active checked, but armed not). Any thoughts on how to fix that?
