Quick question about Nurnberg hulls

Does Nurnberg hull C only swaps AA for Torps? Seems it doesn't anything else or there is some hidden bonus to spending 12k xp on it?

Swaps in AA and swaps out torpedoes.

 

Was added in at a later point in time to give her some AA after several complaints over Nurnburg being so weak to even T5 CVs, IIRC.  Originally, they felt that the full historical setup would be too strong for the tier.

The fact that C hull is historical and B hull is not is worth the 12k xp all on it's own if you ask me.

Ok thanks, though I`m thinking about stiking with B Hull, as much as I like history, I prefer the torps for this lady.

I used to like the B-hull, but I do rarely use torps that I bit the bullet and picked up the C-hull.

Yeah, if you're in a situation to use torps, well, you shouldn't really be in such a situation in the first place.

I`ve found them useful for end match BB ambush and finishing combos
