Hey guys, it's UPK, thought I'd share my USS Missouri review with you guys.  I'm petitioning Wargaming to officially rename it the "USS Mint" as it just prints money like mad! =)

Apparently, according to at least one commentor, I didn't "earn" this ship because... well... I paid to convert free Xp that supposedly appeared from thin air?

As always, comments and thoughts appreciated! =)

Nice review UPK, I did a secondary build, and with the flag I get 9.1 km secondaries. I did not go with the obvious choice of rudder shift. I went with acceleration, and target acquisition I like to out run the torps and acceleration works good for that.

To each their own, that rudder shift is glacial without the rudder shift mod!  I like having a much more maneuverable ship because of the ability to rapidly change the angle of the ship to respond to incoming fire.  Saved my bacon lots of times! :)  Glad you found something that works for you.  I've not tested secondaries on any USN BB's but I'm certainly curious to see how exactly they do perform.  I'm not frequently within secondary range on the Iowa anyway, so getting that close in a Missouri is naturally, not something I'm fond of.  Could have worked in this battle though!

With a full secondary build my Missouri pounds out about 150 to 200 hits when I take her in close.  The ship can really take a beating and I think but not confirmed has a better heal than Iowa

Iowa/Missouri has pretty weak secondaries. Weaker than Izumi and vastly weaker than FDR.

Some of the slowest projectiles. Least range. Least damage. Yes, you can buff them, but so can the enemy. And they will get a greater benefit from doing so. So you had better be better at everything else if you're buffing your weak point and they're buffing their strong(er) point.

You earn it more than any other premium...

750,000 free xp . . . Is there really anyone who can get this ship without paying gold or is pretty much the only practical way of getting it emptying your pockets of like 30,000 gold.

There are those who have never used their Free XP for anything and saved it up.  Heck, at one point, without converting any of it via doubloons, where I had over 400k.  Personally, I've budgeted to spend about $50 a month on this game to keep content going for the YouTube Channel.  This was just the logical use for all that free XP as unlocking an entire ship line is useless without credits! :)
