I am loosing interest real fast. I dont even know where to begin, but I know a lot of players are as frustrated as I with the bull crap. I get good shots on people and then shells flying out of smoke citadel me. DD's torping me that I cant see. Just look at my win rate for today and it says it all. Bad team splits, no luck getting on a good team to help me out and when I do have a great game... its a loss. Why is it that I am in a bb and 7 shells hit another ship it does nothing, that should be an auto kill. Dont understand the mechanics of this game and the citadels. Off to another game for now or maybe another battleship game that I feel I can control the outcome a little more.

Anyone can get tired out from doing something for a really long time; even with video games. WoWS should be something you wanna do if you enjoy it; it should be a hobby. If not, then by all means there are many more games out there to try and enjoy. If those work out, then great. If you wish to try your hand at this game again, also great.

If you arent in the top 5% the game kinda blows.

Well I mean pointing, clicking and watching a shotgun spread is getting old. You think you lined up a great shot and the shells look like someone blew diarrhea over the toilet and hit everything else but the toilet.

I enjoy the game, even though I am not good at it.  And the anime ships are ones you get by playing, but you don't have to use them.

 

If you go, I dig, but I'd keep at it.  Remember, the Winter break is coming, so soon ye shall feast upon the salty tears of rage-quitting teenagers.

I'm a late comer to this game and really like it. I have to admit though, there seems at time to be a lack of team play which results in a lot of losses. It's as if so many play afraid to push. 

 

Ive had teams today and for the last 4 days that cant outplay a potato.

I was just in a battle going to cap from spawn and a fuso decided to retreat for no good reason just as a enemy bb fired on my broadside from miles away.

I was in a texas and the fuso blocked my turn away and i took a full salvo in my side being a texas my bb folded up i mean wth?

My head is gone along with my sanity.

It's a hard game, and most of us are food for the better players. If you're not ok with that, this isn't the game for you.

Everything else aside, it's the matchmaking that kills me and takes away my desire to play.  Being two tiers down seems to be the order of the day.  It just seems so fruitless.  Of course I play cruisers so that just adds to the grief since we die so easily anyway.  Maybe I should start playing BB's and DD's more.

My dd is a tier 7 and is always fighting in tier 9.

I understand your frustrations. Much of what you posted has been posted many times before. I myself have rage quit this game about 5 times now. I uninstalled the game 3 times. I just reinstalled the game again 4 days ago. Will I rage quit again? Maybe, maybe not. WOWS and WOT can be at times the most frustrating games to play that I have ever played. The part the gets me the most is who you are forced to play with every single time you play this game. But everyone has their own different frustrations.

 

You have posted on the forums and read advice from other people and contributed to the community in your own way. For that I thank you. But I hold this against you. You are a very poor battleship player. So, hearing that you want to quit the game makes me want to say, "That's the best news I have heard all day long". A battleship is one of the most important ships on the team. Wargaming developers have stated that BB's and Carriers are the most powerful ships in the game. The game is designed this way. This means that wargaming should put in place a restriction on who can play them, because they are the most powerful ships and vital to good team game play. For you to rage at other problems with the game and not admit that your own negative battleship play has ruined games for other people only makes me want to say, "See Ya!"

 

That being said, you can choose to have a far different experience in this game. It is a choice that you have to make constantly, every second of the game and even posting on the forum. What you do is you only focus on becoming a better player yourself. I haven't raged at a team in a few days now. For me, that is huge. You can be the same way. You can learn this game well and even like playing it. It just takes time and dedication to learning the game and getting better. I hope that you make the right choice to simply try to become a better player. But if you uninstall 5 times and come back 6 times I completely understand that too, because i have been doing that since i bought my way into open beta with the USS Sims destroyer.

Yeah you know what, thats just it i will only play if clans come out and I can play with a group of friends. Because It is fun with people you know can work as a team. You cant really carry the team in this game due to reload time and the set up. I mean other games I am fine 3 vrs 1. In here its a different story because you all have pretty much the same reload time and power.

Generally, I play BB's only nowadays, with some CA (mostly my new shiny Takao). My best advise if playing BB's... Situational awareness and improve your aim leading. I've got lots of room to do in improvement, but somedays I get really lucky:

There have been no container nerfs and not every ship has radar.  The wiki has information regarding consumables and which ships having sonar (aka Hydroacoustic Search) and / or radar (aka Surveillance Radar). Additionally, you can opt out of using Yokosuka port if you don't want to view the Arpeggio ships.

That doesn't really make sense as I read that last sentence I think... Ok in another game that I dont want to give credit. You would have sailors with great stats if you knew how to set your ship up right you would have a decent crew to run your ship. The crew effected the speed of the ship and grouping of shells. Now the grouping of shells you could one shot a ship. You could also dodge shells a little better. In here its kind of like rolling the dice. You line a shot up and you can get a shot gun spread that maybe lands one shell. Which means it really doesnt represent the player I think, its just a bunch of us rolling around in ships rolling dice hoping the shells hit. Yes there is ship position, but also what kind of team you end up on and extr...

And to the OP... there are good days and bad. There are good weeks and bad. I recommend taking a break. While you are taking that break, I encourage you to watch some "How To" videos on Youtube for ships you play. Then, when you feel the urge, you can drop by and play a game or two with new skills learned.
