Parts:

Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

HBT+ Arctica 120 liquid CPU cooler

Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 motherboard

GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 2133

Crucial MX300 525GB M.2 SSD hard drive

PowerColor Red Devil RX 480 8gb video card

EVGA SuperNOVA 650watt Power Supply

Deepcool Dukase V2 computer case

Box of 4 120mm Rosewill 22dba super silent fans

Windows 10 Home x64

As my son says, I probably spent too much on the motherboard but it comes with two m.2. slots and a bunch of external USB slots.

The noise the whole rig makes is just barely a hum. With the liquid cooler on the CPU, the temps don't get above 40C on the CPU. It too is really quiet. You have to pay attention with the case open to hear the pump.

I replaced all the fans that came with the case and cooler with the Rosewill ones.

Love the Systems Board box.......I though it was only ASUS with their WOW's promos that would use a naval theme.

I have been playing Battlefeld 1 on ultra settings

I just upgraded my card from 970 to the 1080, for wows it didn't make a bit of difference although my GPU stays nice and cool and the fans never need to come off much more than idle.

Funny thing about that. The URL on the piece of paper to get my Gigabyte prize is wrong. The URL on their web forums is wrong.

I guessed the correct URL to get my bonus code.

It tells me the code is invalid.

Oh hey, just tried it again and it finally worked and gave me the codes! I'd give out the invite code but it's not as good as invite a friend.

Hey, I think I get a ship and a bunch of flags!

What kind of performance are you getting on wows in terms of fps? and level of graphics? I'm asking because of my other hardware thread.

I think it's 60fps 1920x1080.... everything turned all the way up to crazy.

My connection holds steady at 30ms now too.

Okay, I've added a 27" Dell SE2717H for $130+$10 tax. Very nice. Very big. I bought this monitor because it has freesync, which works great and boosts my Hertz to 75 from the standard 60. I must say freesync is very nice. No tearing, especially when I run something like the original CoD at 300+ FPS.

Nice system there Cappy! Gigabyte makes very good motherboards.

I use a 5 yr old ASUS Sabertooth X79 Socket 2011 with a 2nd Generation quad core i7 at 3.6 GHz and 10MB Cache

Have 8 GB system Ram

GTX-950 Video card can run 1280x1024 at 60Fps with max settings.

And a Crucial 480GB SSD HD and like yours boots Win 10 X64 in about 10 seconds as well.

SSD's are the way to go peeps! Very fast boot and loading.
