anyone like to see "Harekaze" in WoWs someday ?

First of all, before anyone ask WTH is Harekaze.

She is a fantasy "kagero" class destroyer from the anime High School Fleet (AKA Haifuri)

 

I think she would be a fun ship to play if she is introduce into WoWs

lets look at her spec. (taken from multiple sources)

tonnage : 2033ton (standard)

speed: 37kt

armarment: load out 1 (type 3 12.7cm/50 naval gun x3)

 

load out 2 (type98 10.0cm/65 naval gun x 3)

load out 3 (Mk.39 12.7cm/54 naval gun)

 

Torpedo: 2x4 61cm torpedo

AA: 2x single mount 25mm 

 

Using loadout 2 on this ship seems to be the best choise.

I think she can sit at Tier 8 after the IJN DD line split and she can be a mix and match between the Kagero (torp wise) and Akizuki (gun wise)

 

any thoughts ??

WG takes on real artifacts of WWII, not pull things completely out of thin air. Everything in the game has so far at least have had paper designs. If it doesn't have a historical basis behind it, WG won't make it.

 

I'll gladly take another Harukaze tho

 

And no, the Arpeggio ships are just reskins of the Kongo. There were no adjustments to them and these were the historically accurate names of the Kongou-class battlecruisers.

Yukikaze (the only surviving Kagero class destroyer) actually did mount 1 12.7cm type 3 gun in front and 2 10cm type98 gun at the aft after the war when she serve in the Republic of China Navy as Dan Yang (1947-1953) 

Dan Yang (Yukikaze) also did mount US made 5" gun after ammo for type 3 and type 98 guns ran out

So a Kagero class having type 98 guns or even US made 5" guns is actually more "real" than those paper ship. The only not so real for the topic is the name "Harekaze" which is a totally made up name

Harekaze, one tough little DD.  Though it needs to come with the cat and/or the stuffed shark.
