for me its zipangu. so far it has many things that make me like it from, the sakura trees( something about that is just nice touch), the little tug boat that roams around, the planes flying overhead, and my mildy obsession with ijn cvs makes it the perfect home. so whats yours?

on a side note i got my first tier 9 today and behold another taiho enters the fight :)

Zipangu is the best looking IMO, but I use Yokosuka because ARP boats.

Same. I am stuck on Yokosuka, only because I need to see my ARP ships. Hope they change that soon.

Ocean - don't have to see the god awful colors of the ARP ships and I can concentrate on the ships, not the ports

To each... his own

Stuck on Yokosuka as well, not because I want to see my ARP ships, but because I need to see other people's. Otherwise when people say to shoot the Takao and not the Atago... :look:

I can't say how reliable the source is or is not, but supposedly 0.5.16 will bring a 'checkbox' for ARP/anime content.

Source: reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/WorldOfWarships/comments/5ejsc4/wows_na_captain_of_the_fleet_stream_information/

Upcoming Information

  • IJN DDs "pretty soon" - Q
  • German DDs "by the end of the year" - Q
  • 0.5.16 for German DDs, but still subject to change - Q
  • Missouri information will come out with 0.5.15
  • 0.5.16 will bring the "anime checkbox"
  • 0.5.16 will presumably come before the end of the year

Yokosuka simply for ARP ships, heard mumbling that WG may make ARP ships available for all ports. If not for ARP, I would pick Ocean. I know..boring, but any break I can give my machine I will, and I am more interested in the ship than the port.

New York for me. Maybe it's the fact that NYC is my original home that keeps bringing me back to that port. Or the fact that every time I look at the New York port in game, I think back to that scene from Band of Brothers where they're all loading up onto troops ships getting ready to head to England.

Hawaii, but I don't buy premium much now days so I'm normally on the Philippines

What I really want to see is Norfolk and Portsmouth, that probably won't be any time soon if at all though.

For me, it's Hawaii...but I'm biased since that's my favorite state in the Union :D.

New York, I like it best as a port.

It's annoying I have to swap to Yokosuka every time I wanna take out a Kongo or tge Takao, but I just don't like the look of Yokosuka that much

+1 to this. One of these days, I'll remember to copy/paste the Zipangu files as a mod to make Yokosuka look like it...but it is not this day.
