How to get 170,000 + Doubloons, 5 ships and 37 port slots

I bought the big bundle even though I had 32 of the ships already. I got the 5 ships I didn't have, with port slots + 32 extra port slots and cleared 170,000 doubloons to boot. Figure I am set for a while and ready for the Missouri no matter what the cost ends up being. I didn't get the premium time deal having spent $400 already, I always buy the premiums deluxe package that comes with premium time, oh, and the useless special flags that come with them.

Sorry WG about the flag quip or maybe I'm not. I don't care what anyone else says about the big bundle I am a satisfied buyer. What's for Christmas?

I played my Saipan to death getting my 15 point captain, then once I got it, I hardly EVER play it. I wanted a Fubuki, so I played that line until I got it maxed out, and have hardly touched it since. Wanted a Fletcher, got it, played it maybe 4 times.

 

I have a feeling if I buy all the premium ships I'll probably never play most of them. 

 

I will be getting in on that Premium time though. Enjoy those Doubloons.

You can only play one ship at a time, and games take a long time to play. It's a fact that if you have a lot of ships most of them will just sit around the port.

I went for it too. Not regretting it. Certainly have enough doubloons and port slots to last a long, long time even after converting free XP for whatever Missouri is going to cost. 

 

Also, Katori is more fun than people give her credit for. Accuracy and long range at low tiers can be pretty deadly if played carefully.

Did you ever figure out your "profit" with the non-discounted ship to doubloon conversion? 20,000 doubloons cost $81.92 and that would make 170,000 worth about $690.I'd say you made a killing on that deal...

 

BTW, The flags are kinda meh.

I won't feel so bad now when I am buying the tier 10 camouflage at 5000 gold either. 50% off battle cost makes it affordable and even profitable to run T-10 now.

That is a killing on the doubloons. I wouldn't play half those ships but to get the doubloons.... Giving it a serious thought now

I just bought the new Samsung s3 frontier smartwatch for $300. So I saved a $100 from not buying that package! Merry Xmas to me. Missing the Katori, Kamikazi and 1 other. Just didn't seem worth it to me as I already had so many of the ships. I can see it being worthwhile for those who don't own many premiums though.
