Battleship* Concealment Build

People rag on it and hate it because it promotes cowardice when we do not need it..  I run a concealment build on my Iowa and I say...

 

What is better than an Iowa..

 

an Iowa at 12km on your flank that you couldn't 'nose into' because you didn't know I was there.  To me on THIS* ship concealment = aggression.  When I cit you I want to be close enough to drink your beer, lay on your couch, watch your tv and flirt with your wife.

 

*Concealment on IJN and Germans is still stupid

For me.  Tank/AA hybrid build works really well for my USN BB's.

Why? My 12.3km stealth Bismarck does well enough for itself, thankyouverymuch.

 

For me, the ability to silence my guns and go dark at 12km to recover health is not cowardice, it's tactical.

Ultimately, CE is most useful on BBs that aren't good at tanking, which would be the USN BBs and Amagi.

Arkansauce Beta. Yeah, I know it's one of the lower tier BBs, but actually being able to fire when you're detected and not beyond your gun range is a godsend... Especially when you have absolutely zero AA.

That's exactly what I do with my CE NC.

It's very cruiser like already, so it naturally plays better as a cruiser.

i can just see you as one of those NC captains who camps in the back and refuses to push or tank any dmg while your team dies around you

i mean after all NC is just a no armor cruisers right, let friendly DDs can cruisers tank enemy BBs

Or making people crap themselves when a Yamato pops up 14km away right after firing at their broadside.

I love concealment on battleships. With it, I'm seen at 11.8 on my NC, 12.something on my Iowa, and 12 on the dot on my Arizona. This allows me to come up reaal close to enemies, unload on them, and then wink out before my next salvo. Sows mad chaos on the enemy team to have a ninja battleship snipe them from so close and not be seen.

You stealth BB cowards can keep playing like fools. This game is going down the drain as tiers go higher.

I'm flirting with training a stealth Iowa captain now that its AA captain has graduated to Montana; the appeal of disappearing at 12km is strong, but my playstyle is usually to herd enemies into a corner and charge in, so stealth is not usually something that concerns me.
