But I don't play with the anime stuff it's not something I like, I'd much rather the game just be WW1-WW2 but it's not my call. Anyways since I'll never use the captain can I sell her? Get some kind of value out of the mission? Maybe some anime slave trade black market? I'd much rather have doubloons or gold then a anime item ill never use. Thanks for the reply and I understand about the ports, I never use the anime port. But it would be nice if I could trade it for premium time or just credits, something that will actually be of use to me. There happens to be alot of people that do, in fact, have anime as a hobby. The flags and the coins come as a bonus for completing the missions. There's plenty of other missions that already reward you with credits and XP, and that have nothing to do with ARP, or anime in general. And premium time as a reward? That's rare. I don't really recall a mission giving premium time as a reward, so that's neither here or there and has nothing to do with the ARP mission. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You can do what I do which is mod away the interesting colors they come in to give them WW2 look. Also you still are getting value for completing the mission every section gives you something. That said I find that the anime port and voices clashes with the game. On the other hand, the takao is basically a free atago; a great ship with an OP heal and amazing jap HE. So while I don't mind playing the anime port to play that wonderful ship, I think the best of both worlds would be to have a mod as mentioned above that takes out the voices and skins but lets you play the ARP takao. ARS NOVA set up a contract with wargaming in which the ARP ships act as advertisement for their anime. You don't want to use, well ok good for you. They don't take up a port slot, they don't cost you any money to obtain and hell they actually don't cost you any real time to get because *gasp* you're playing the game normally and you are still going to get it. Thanks There are mods that edit the Yokosuka port into something else and also remove the skins for the ARP ships, some even come with historically accurate camo patterns. I'm just glad you're not raging on us for liking our "Underage schoolgirls" If you don't like it simply because: A.) it holds no interest to you, but you still wanna play the ship, there's mods for that. B.) You never grew up with it, see A. D.) Immersion into the timeline the game set. See A. (IMO: they destroyed that when they nerfed carriers and ruined IJN torps to be worse than USN torps. (USN torps had a bubble trail allowing it to be seen from miles away while IJN torps didn't leave one and you could only barely see a wake if it was set to run just below the surface, that and using HE to fire on warships whereas historically AP and CAP rounds were used on Warships because HE did nothing to the internal structure of a warship.) ~Hunter Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

As others have said, you can use mods to make it look like a regular ship. That being said, do you really hate anime so much that you wouldn't play what's pretty much a free Atago? I really don't get this hate toward anime. It's almost like turning down a rare movie poster that's worth a lot of money just for the fact that you don't like the movie. I understand that not all people like anime (i don't like it that much either), but is there really a reason to hate it? It's just a genre of animated films.
