Need advise on Artillery Focused ship

Get WOWS gamers. I created an account in Beta and played it with free Albany ship and really loved it back then. I enjoyed the fact it was Fast, had no Torpedoes and average Artillery. I would like to continue this trend and would like unlock a Cruiser or Destroyer line which Focus on ARTILLERY ( rate of fire, Accuracy ) instead of torpedoes. Which nation has such a cruiser/destroyers?. Any help would be appreciated in this matter.

The US cruiser line would probably fit that best, but except for Cleveland, they're mostly mediocre until Des Moines at the very end of the line.

For destroyers their is the Russian line and for cruiser really anything except IJN and RN, who put a large emphasis on torpedoes.  I would advise against the USN since they are in bad shape right now.

I forget what level you can see the tech tree at...I think it's level 3, but anyways, the US, Russia, Japan, Germany, and Britian all have cruiser lines in the game.

 

All of them focus more on artillery than torpedoes, as that is how cruisers worked.  Torpedoes are there on most lines (all but US) as a secondary option for the most part, although higher tier cruisers start to get torpedoes that rival destroyers in speed and range.

US or Russian cruisers, Russian Destroyers

For destroyers, Russians. Almost all have 4 km torps. You use your guns and speed.

 

For cruisers, sniping and artillery range I'd go German or Russian.

Russians are big slow turners, but their range is very good.
