20-inch gun Yamato design was real

At 1:06 of Drafchinifel's YouTube video SMS Mackensen (NB) - Guide 051 (Human Voice) he shows an image of what appears to be the Yamato-class design armed with 20-inch rifles. Now the video dates to Jan 22, 2020 which is about the time Wargaming announced the 20-inch sister of Yamato, the Yashima. I wonder if Drafchinifel created that drawing or whether or not he actually found the image from somewhere..... maybe it is an actual drawing that the Imperial Japanese Navy made?
  2. There has been a tradition of speculation among naval amateurs that Design A-150, if built, would feature white (or light grey) main gun turrets. The main gun turrets in naval ships are sometimes painted in specific colors to help identify the ship. Yamato and Musashi's turrets are historically painted in body color. Design A-150 could have some the turrets painted in a different color to reduce the cases where a friendly naval operator has mistaken the Design A-150 for Yamato or Musashi. I also feel the white turrets make the gigantic 20-inch guns look more badass. (Above: a Design A-150 scale model, with white turrets.) (Above: old game Navyfield 2, where A-150 also has white turrets.)

    New Tier 10 German Battleship?

Well, it's safe to say that Yashima is breaking the mold for what battleships can be in World of Warships. 510 mm guns? Yeah, those are pretty big. What I'm curious about is, if Wargaming are going to introduce the proposed super-Yamato, then when can we expect to see a new (premium) tier 10 German battleship representative of the H-42, H-43, and H-44 class? For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, the current tier 9 German battleship, the Friedrich de Grosse, is representative of the H-39 class battleship, bearing 8 x 406 mm guns in 4 turrets. The Kriegsmarine continued to develop battleship designs based on what other nations were planning, the result of which were designs H-40 through to H-44 (H-40 is different from the other designs in that it only had 6 x 406 mm guns in 3 turrets). Depending on which sources you consult, the gun calibres for some of the ships are different, but needless to say, as the designs progressed, the gun calibre increased, all the way up to 8 x 508 mm guns in 4 turrets on the H-44 class. So what's my point? Well, if the Japanese can have a super-battleship, then I'd say the Germans deserve their chance to shine too. Mark my words, there's money to be made by adding a premium such as this to the game, and Wargaming will put this ship in the game. They may opt to use the supposed 8 x 480 mm guns configuration instead, but mark my words, this ship will appear in-game someday. Also, I guarantee that there will be a premium H-40 class battleship, possibly as a tier 8 or 9 premium (I hope 8), maybe with torpedoes if Wargaming want to make a Gneisenau on steroids (WG, if you read this, please make this come true ) . Well, that's all for now folks, please let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments below, and please consider taking part in my survey! Fair winds and following seas!

    Yashima or Stalingrad?

So I found out today, via no zoup for you's video, that Yashima will be released as a steel ship. Obviously, I don't know how much she will cost at the moment. I do know however, that right now, in order to get the Stalingrad next patch, all I would have to do is hit rank 6 in ranked to get the 21k steel I would need "using my coupon." I've wanted the Stalingrad for awhile now, but opted to get the Bourgogne first, which I did three months ago since I primarily play BBs. Part of me wants to stick true to my original goal of getting the Stalingrad next. However, I've long wanted a super yamato class in the game, so part of me wants to work towards the Yashima instead. The Stalingrad has proven herself to just about everyone who owns her " my clanmates who own her included," that she is more than worth the investment, and they have all assured me I wouldn't regret adding the "balancedgrad" to my port. Yashima on the other hand is just a Yamato with fewer, albeit larger guns. More importantly 510mm doesn't hit any meaningful overmatch threshold in the game and you deal with a painful reload on 6 guns. Also, not enough players have gotten to sail her yet to determine if she is worth the investment or not. Despite all this, I'm still having trouble deciding. Any thoughts?
