If wargaming wants to keep its Russian bias, the tech tree Russian ships need buffed ASAP! With the changes to the commander skill tree, and the game meta now being shifted to torp boats, A/J line BB sniping and FDRs, short range specialized ships that are can tank a lot of damage a straight up bad. The only viable ship from the Russian navy is well.... Slava, and maybe Slava, oh and Slava. Even Smolensk doesn't really make sense when everything is already outside of 19 kilometers. So WG, if you care so much about your Russian ships, then you probably should buff them, or else there will be no reason to play them... even on the RU servers.
So i finally obtain the Moskva a few days ago(took me some time to get use to the new ship but manage to get a few matches breaking 100k dmg) so now i'm planning to have designated captains for Chapayev and D.Donskoi because i enjoy taking them to sea. However i am unsure what skills would be relevant for both ships. The image is the skills i have so far for my designated Donskoi captain. Not sure if other skills should be chosen in place of the ones that i have so far. And with the change to the AA, not sure if its possible to add a AA skill to the captain to help with air defence. For my upgrades i have MAM1, Survallence Radar Mod 1, Aiming Systems Mod 1, Steering Gears, Concealment and Gunfire Control Mod 1. Also plan to use the same captain skills for Chapayev captain. Needs some assistance. Would be greatly appreciated.
anonym_JEJgAhN5LeMR posted a topic in General Game DiscussionFrom a recent Facebook posting on the Asian Region FB page, it looks like they at least are getting the new Russian cruiser line on Wednesday, March 23. So I guess WG has become so good at this now that they don't need to test anything with their user base. If this is true, not only did WG lie to us again about the canceled PT they originally had planned, but it's going to be a [edited] storm in here after the new line goes live. Bugs... balance issues... complaints about national bias... etc.. etc... Here's the FB post (thanks to Marcanbus_NA for catching it)
