    Activate the Aquila Signal!

Yeah, Co-op. So sorry, not a fan of Randoms. Commissioner Go**on; "Rockets mission huh? Activate the Aquila Signal!" Maybe other carriers can do the same; but when I saw this mission the choice was obvious. @AdmiralThunder @Khafni @HazeGrayUnderway @ArIskandir @Ahskance (just an fyi, Ahsk.)
  2. Dear WG (or the corporation that you farmed out World of Warships to), Now that we are all tired of watching the 5 second cartoons you made for those of us who play CVs, can we have a real squadron to replace it? After spotting, rocket planes are simply pushed off the deck of the carrier as "dead weight", and rightly so. We need to speed up! Since WG at one time suggested that IJN ships would be outfitted with a squadron of kamikazes, I think the time for that has finally come. I think at least one squadron of 24 planes with low HP, a 100% fire chance, and a minimum of 10,000 damage with a direct hit would be a nice and interesting replacement of the now dead and useless rocket planes. The game should be interesting, not brain dead. Against a destroyer, a kamikaze direct hit should also come with a very high chance of detonation, which would also ignore the Juliet Charlie flag. (Why is that dumb flag even in this game? If my ship detonates, I want to see a spectacular explosion, not the standard puff of smoke! Give me something I can later record and replay as entertainment instead of frying my gpu with little towns and suburbs on hills that have no real purpose in this game. Hell, that's what the 5-10 second cartoon should be about.) Also, I suggest that IJN carriers be equipped with dive bombers that use HE bombs, like the American ones do (and Kaga). Two squadrons of dive bombers (one HE and one AP) with a torpedo squadron or even just HE dive bombers only with torpedo bombers since the AP ones have an extremely low damage output compared to the amount of time invested in flying them. (A BB could fire 24 to 36 or more AP shells in the time it takes to try and do an AP dive bomber attack against massive AA.) Anyway, those are some of my suggestions for replacing the "hated" and now useless rocket planes and keeping CV players from leaving the game. (Less players = less money. Economics 101) I will now leave the door open to all the trolls, haters, vitriol throwers, and character assassins who have come to make this game very unfun. Have at it!
  3. The continuation from the topic thread here In today's feature, I am not the star of the replay... Its the red fleet's DD. You the viewer, as you watch, just keep an eye on our CV... That is it.. Also, like the last post.. This is not a discussion on spotting. This is not a rant against CVs or the drivers who play them. This is meant to show how power creep adds to the toxicity to the in-game experience. Its also meant for us to think, should this meta be allowed in the game? IMO, The disproportional DMG dealt by CVs ( or any other ship class for that matter), creates a lot of the toxicity in a match. Enjoy! 20200826_223115_PASC707-Flint_46_Estuary.wowsreplay *REMEMBER* You can speed up the replay by pressing the INS button.
  4. I ask CV players, do you think the best CV players in game get the most salt. The bad one just play tier 4 CV. Do you roll your eyes when players say CV are easy and have everlasting fighters. Do you love the salt playing a CV. Because it always are fault win or lose. CV mains do you feel like your in your own click, the other players just don't understand us. Do you love troll ships? Well subs be the new troll. If so well you play it.
  5. Since version 0.9.4.0 I noticed that the Ta 152 C-1 of GRAF ZEPPELIN are all armed with rocket launchers when in port: In a match GRAF ZEPPELIN of course still has her Ta 152 C-1 armed with a torpedo or a bomb: The GRAF ZEPPELIN Ta 152 C-1 being equipped with rocket launchers in port is probably a mistake due to the Ta 152 C-1 also being used on the upcoming Tier 10 German Carrier, but hopefully it might also mean something more. So the question to be raised is: will GRAF ZEPPELIN finally get a better alternative to the current Ta 152 C-1 that is armed with a bomb in the shape of a Ta 152 C-1 that is armed with AP rockets in the near future? It would be "nice" to finally have an improvement over the current quite underwhelming, to use an understatement, Ta 152 C-1 armed with a bomb. To have an alternative and improvement for this bomb armed Ta 152 would bring German Carriers in line with USA Carriers that also have a choice between the 29 cm rockets and the 12.7 cm rockets for their Carrier Aircraft. Is there anyone that has any information about this? Most likely the rocket launchers that are currently mounted on the Ta 152 C-1 of GRAF ZEPPELIN when in port is just a result of sloppy work by the WOWS Development team and more likely than not the GRAF ZEPPELIN will remain stuck with the current underpowered bomb armed Ta 152 C-1, since WOWS Management has proven that any suggestion to improve anything in this area will be fully ignored. Still it would be nice if this is not just a "mistake" made by the WOWS Development team but instead a sneak preview of an upcoming - long overdue - improvement for the bomb armed Ta 152 C-1 of GRAF ZEPPELIN.

How to Kill DDs with rockets

Gents, What is the best way to get rocket hits on DDs. Conversely, what makes DDs hard to hit with rockets? Hmmm. Maybe I should ask with a different name? Cheers
  7. This is what to look forward too in 2020... Let me set the stage, In a Flint finding my favorite Wifu rock in the map so that I can rein fire in domination mode... B cap is being rushed by the reds, only 2 ships at A cap so I aim for the middle of my rocky Wifu... I got spotted from B Next thing I know, half my HP is gone... Its not from the reds at B (they have a clear angle to my citadel). It was a BB from behind the rock.... Out of my range but yet easy for him to take half my HP.. As a narrow target as I was (facing north and south bow on at the time), I was shocked but not surprised.. AP from BBs has gotten to easy to citadel light cruisers even from bow on... Due to these circumstances, I dont blame if my follow cruisers dont want to play Domination mode properly... A BB nails 3 shots on a bow on Light cruiser just getting into position and its port... It is what it is, the game is centered on BBs/guns and rockets for 2020. I'll adapt (pics below). I would include the replay but I after 30min of searching in the WOWS drives.. I haven't found it
  8. So, I'm currently in the process of free XP-ing the upgrades on the Lexington before I sell my Ranger and buy it, but I've come across a little bit of a dilemma. With the rocket planes, I have a choice between the regular HVAR rockets or the big Tiny Tim ones. I know what the advantages and disadvantages of both are, but I'm not sure which one to get. On one hand, there's lots of HVAR rockets which means I'm probably going to miss the tiny little DDs that I use my rocket planes on less often. On the other hand, the Tiny Tim rockets pack a huge punch, meaning that they'll do more damage on DDs and on the cruisers and BBs I occasionally have to use the rocket planes on. Because I'm caught in this conundrum, I thought I'd pose it to the rest of you: Which rocket planes do you think are better, the HVARs or the Tiny Tims? Thanks in advance to anyone who responds. Sincerely, 1Sherman.
  9. WG, Considering that now I can barely spot a DD and rockets are ineffective maybe you ought to reconsider removing Radio Location from CV planes. I was just killed by a DD that I was trying to find but could not spot. Maybe this was your intention all along but this nerf kind of makes the CV feel helpless defending itself against DDs. The constant nerfs are starting to become tiresome.Thanks.
  10. This game just gets sillier each time there is a change. No Japanese naval aircraft used unguided (or guided) missiles during WW2. None. Yet because American aircraft used them (the HVAR) from the middle of 1944 and on into the Pacific theatre until VJ-day we now see WG equip the Japanese carrier aircraft with some fictional missile. No doubt this will be for "balance". As I said....sillier and sillier.
