  1. Hello all. I know I am a bit late to the forums but, I wanted to make sure I shared my thoughts. Before I get in to that, I want to make sure I say this before any "detective wannabes" try to downgrade a post based on what they can see.. I have played the Moskva, Minotaur, and Slava on another account. I am familiar with these ships, and have experimented with different loads out. Onwards.. I am not seeing anything wrong with the Slava in terms of the stats. Yes it does a crap ton of damage but, it is limited by a 30 second reload, and slow speed. It isn't like the Moskva which is a nightmare for everyone (when played right) The reason I think the Moskva is more a nightmare than the Slava is because of how versatile it is (in comparison). It can get below a 10 second reload. It has a crazy top speed (for a cruiser), and when it is going in face first, it has 50mm of armor, while being annoying to hit. If the Moskva is modded with Heavyweight, it can almost reach 21 KM firing range.. Making this the true "Stalin Railgun" (nickname I saw people using for the Slava). Good luck dodging that range when the shell velocity is 985 m/s! I believe the reason that people don't see Moskva's as much, or don't feel threatened by them is because those players don't know how to play it. You are not suppose to broadside in face to face combat. This is something Eurobeats and a few other guide makers have said before. It still holds true even after all of the years. The Slava seems to be the same way If people are really going to be that uptight about it being added here is my recommendation.. Lower the range of the guns. 21-24 KM max range should be good numbers to look at ---------------------------------------------------- Moving on to the Kleber now. I haven't played this one but, I can already see why people are starting to get unhappy. It is a crazy fast, ambush play style Destroyer. It is true it can't heal and has limited HP but, that doesn't matter when you can sneak up on someone as well as the Kleber can. You drop your Torpedo's at short range giving the players no chance of being able to react (in most cases). If for some weird reason the Torpedo's fail, it has that reload consumable to give it a level of DPM greater than what a Minotaur can dish out I am not entirely sure as to what can be done about the Kleber itself but, I do have a Tech Tree suggestion for someone to put in to testing. Something I have noticed is WoWs is a long grind for people with free accounts. It is why I play on another account. I am tired of being stuck on the same ship for months on end. Even if I had more time to devote to gaming, it wouldn't make a difference with how slow things are. I blame the 2 tier gap matches for a good number of it My suggestion is allow Ship Tier Transfer. Let us say in this example you are at tier 10. You can trade your Moskva for say a Minotaur. It would sell the Moskva, and give you the Minotaur. To keep some balance I think it should only be for same classes (cruiser to cruiser trade, BB to BB trade, etc) That would allow people to switch ships as the game changes. Each time you add something new, it gives players the opportunity to move to a ship that would better work with their new playstyle to deal with the ships that get added It would be nice if there was a Captain Transfer too. There is some special Captains like Dasha who were available in different countries. If I switch from one country to the other, I would hope to have that transfer as well. Dasha is my highest ranked Captain That is the most I have. Best of luck with everything!

  3. This is the quality settings i use on both public test and on the live server. However, on the public test, these graphics settings make the game look like its an 8-bit game. I'm still not sure if this was intentional or if its a bug

I don't see any options to change this, but when I open the Game Center to launch World of Warships, the game instance it defaults to is the Public Test server instead of my normal game server (NA), so I have to change that every time to play WoWS. It would be nice to have the option to change the default instance, or at least have the Game Center bring up the last used game instance automatically.

I am not sure if I'm doing something wrong or is it the upgrade in the different server we are now using for v0.7.8 Just after I finished the download, I checked the instructions, did what I was told to do and launched the new version from the new icon. Signed in as instructed, waited a few seconds and the menu came up saying "Error Connecting with The Server. Try Again Later". I did that several times to no avail. That was yesterday. Now it's 10am EST USA and it still won't get passed that server. I never had a problem with the last two versions and don't understand why 0.7.8 will not load. Any ideas ??
