Well, it was a great thread, so let's be a bit more careful this time Looks like the UK has entered the ring for the US Frigate program. UK used: Type 26 Frigate! http://www.defensenews.com/digital-show-dailies/dsei/2017/09/14/bae-is-in-the-race-for-the-the-us-ffgx-with-its-type-26-frigate/ Considering the USN wants stuff they know will work, I'm not sure if they'll go for it. After all, none have been completed yet, so we've yet to see if any flaws appear. It would suck for the USN to build them and then find they've got a brand new fleet of ships with loads of issues à la the Type 45.
Navalpride33 posted a topic in Off-TopicI would love to contribute some humor to the mix so. I am thinking if you guys see any NEWS that is funny, humorous, or down right stupid then this is the place for it. You guys set the moral guidelines. Of course the purpose is to make the Moderators/community laugh, not to ban your post. So let me start with this one I found today. Its probably old news but it gave me a smile, Being a parent is well under rewarded job but when you mess up, well it ends up on the internet. Enjoy ! https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/little-boy-accidentally-wears-salacious-tee-school-moms-apology-goes-viral-234013520.html. CHeers!
Was reading Reddit and came across this post: BTW 1400 CEST is like 0800 CST I think. Could Google it but am lazy. Anyways not sure if this announcement if for the EU server only or is a general game announcement because the page lacks that information. So if you are bored and online at 0800 CST, might wanna give their stream a watch and see what is up. The WG page says it will be in English only. Just an afterthought, this may have to do only with the EU server since there is no mention of anything on WG's NA site as of 0600 CST.
No such thing in that part of the world. One presumes that the author means the St. Georges Channel between New Britain and New Ireland. The word "troopers" is questionable, too; "troops" would be more appropriate. Further, the line implies that the troops were embarked on destroyers, where the end of the paragraph mentions "transport and escort ships". The whole section is a bit of a mess.
