  1. Then [RBMK] and [RBMK2] - "Mistakes. Were. Made." are just the clans for you! We have ACTIVE and CONSISTENT members that division and play DAILY. This enables us to place high in Clan Wars (currently top 20 Over-All NA). If this sounds like the clan for you then here is some more about us: We have a great community of active, mature players with strong and able leadership. Each of our members are provided with training and resources so that they, and the clan as a whole, can improve and grow. Several of our members are current and former Military and Law Enforcement. We also have players from all time zones including SEA. So there's always somebody on to division with. We division and play together daily which improves our effectiveness as a team, especially in competitive modes. This enables us to try out different things and exchange information about the game to improve each player's success. We provide invaluable training resources, updates, and guides through our Discord channel so that all our members have easy access to them. We even run training sessions and scrimmages with other clans! Our goal is to reduce the skill gap between our players by improving and growing them. This makes everyone a valuable team player and an asset to the clan. Here are some basic requirements to be considered for membership: Good average damage with good average experience and battles. Active in-game and Discord. Be a Team Player (willing to learn, improve, and teach). Hardcore - Always go out with a bang! IMPORTANT: We place great emphasis on the activity and personality of our members. If you are active in Discord, division with us, and have an affable attitude you will drastically improve your chances of membership. We would rather have a mediocre player who is fun to have around and we can teach to improve, than an inactive, toxic Unicum. If you want to check us out and get to know us before joining here is our Discord link: https://discord.gg/hYnH9NF Hop on in and see what you're missing out on! (I highly recommend our state-of-the-art Memes channel). If you have any questions or comments then leave them below or message @Ivan_Namirettov directly. And remember: It's not about your time in battle, it's about your impact in battle that makes the difference. Good luck and see you around!
  2. [OO7] Double Strike is looking for new players to join our clan! We are seeking highly skilled and motivated players that are willing and able to play on our Hurricane level Alpha team in Clan Battles as well as other competitive events. While we have no strict activity requirements, we are wanting new players to become well established members of the clan, divisioning regularly with other members as we believe familiarity breeds growth and success. Players who apply should show clear progression in their learning, and are open to constructive feedback from their peers. While we prefer unicum level (60% winrate, 2100 PR), it's not a hard requirement and we are flexible with players showing improvement at the game. Players must have a healthy number of high tier games with a decent selection of ships in those tiers to demonstrate overall class mastery. If you are interested in joining us, you can contact myself or any of the other officers in our clan for consideration. If you meet our requirements, expect a short trial period of divisioning with clan members prior to your acceptance. You can find us on our discord here: https://discord.gg/CjcXdgu Or you can message me here on the forums or directly on discord: Ducky_shot#7777 [OO7] is a high level competitive clan, perennially competing in Hurricane league each clan battles season; We are an English speaking clan that has members around the world playing on the NA server. We regularly compete in such events as King of the Seas. As one of the oldest clans in the game with high activity since inception, our port in the game is nearly fully upgraded, with all levels of the coal and steel port being unlocked.
  3. Anyone else consider RN attack aircraft a waste of deck space? I'm talking about the Sea Hurricane, Firefly, Seafire and Wyvern. They're fighters They're slower than the bombers they accompany Their speed boosts last barely a few seconds (so in no way compensate for ultra slow speed) Rockets highly RNG dependent when you finally get to target They're very fragile. I get slow speed and fragility for rocket-carrying Hurricanes (an out-dated, adapted fighter). I get fragility for Seafires (designed to be an interceptor, and as such was the fastest naval fighter of the war). I don't get slow speed and fragility for the Firefly (which was actually built to be a rocket strike and recon aircraft. Yes. That is why it was a heavy fleet fighter. The second person was for long range navigation and recon.) I don't get the slow speed and fragility of the Wyvern (which was actually built to be a strike fighter). People say "use them to spot". I say ... what? At that speed? And use my torp/carpet bombers as at least their speed boost has some sort of duration and means my intel is sort of timely. People say "use them to contest cap" ... what? By the time they get there, the DD has done their job. And that perfectly aligned rocket drop goes ahead, behind, above and below the target - not on it. People say "use them to deliver fighter cover" ... what? By the time they get there, the squadron has either been shredded by enemy ships or the ship they are supposed to support has been sunk. People say "it's about the flavour" ... I say Seriously, they're only there to fill the time between waiting for the torp and carpet bomber squadrons to restock. I'm really, really hesitant to consider buying Indomitable (a shame as I'm such a big RN carrier fan). She's only going to carry fighters: Sea Hornets. The Sea Hornets were among the fastest piston engined aircraft ever built. They were also ultra nimble, and ultra-long ranged. I shudder to think what Wargaming will do to them.
  4. The captains from BLUE_ FLEET wish you all of the best of luck and safety. I myself will be donating to the Red Cross to do a tiny part in helping. I urge all captains who can afford it to do so as well. I will put the link up to the donation page here https://www.redcross.org/donate/hurricane-florence-donations.html/?cid=hurflorence&med=cpc&source=google&scode=RSG00000E017&gclid=CjwKCAjwuO3cBRAyEiwAzOxKspobbDkZDu51PE45-D7nulGeFtpKUjk-HxEORkPXvOt7vaVamC224xoCHn4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&dclid=COb0xKO5ut0CFUjCwAodmQYNtQ Post a reply to this if you donated or wish to send your best wishes. Please take care! Godspeed from BLUE_ FLEET.
