  4. Hello Captains! Operation Dynamo and Operation Cherry Blossom are historical operations in our game. I wanted to ask the collectives opinions what historical operations you would love to see in the game next? Keep it lively and full of constructive feedback.

    Operation Bikini Atoll

A suggestion for a operation "Bikini Atoll" The general game the usual of bot ships trying to destroy you. Trying to move from one part of the map to another within a certain time span. Ending of making it out alive or being destroyed in a atomic blast.
  6. Now before i say anything i will state that yes the zao is a very good ship but after the removal of the ability for destroyers and cruisers to be able to stealth fire with ease in japan line. The zao may have recently gotten its updated torps and slightly increased damage but when the initial idea of the ship was being a "Fire starter" with its high fire chance it is out ranked by other cruisers now (Henry IV). It isn't the worst ship to play but in terms of its actual effectiveness. Now looking at most stats (NOT COUNTING PLAYER ABILITY) the ship its self is in simple terms not so great. Other ships of similar tier have been much better off in some form of "strength" whether that be AP damage, torpedo's etc.. The ideal point i'm trying to make is that it would be nice to have the ship either be given a major overhaul or just replace the ship entirely which i am purposing. To where i am going with this as we know WOW wants to be accurate to lore while keeping balance on ships to prevent them from being too "OP" which is all. But that is where the zao kinda falls off from the historically correct part of it. As the zao is based on the 1941 Type A Heavy Cruiser which is also known to be the Design B-65 cruiser that japan had planned back in 1939 and was to be made in 1942. Where the ship carriers 9 Tri-linked cannons at 310MM for its primary guns. In addition its natural stats are in large similarity to that of the Yamato as the ship was defined as a Super Type A cruiser. The ship in easiest terms was a "baby Yamato" so at least from my point of view of historical accuracy i would love to see them redesign the zao to make it more to its correct design with altered stats to not make it a dumbly "OP" ship compared to the other T10 Ships. To assist in help show what i am talking about here is a clipped image from the info page of the B-65 Cruiser.
  7. Here's the HMS Valkyrie as she was seen in 1917. https://www.mediafire.com/file/9pbte2rub68bfeo/BSD008_Valkyrie_1930_a.dds/file https://goo.gl/images/1QizQe HMS Vancouver joins the fleet! http://www.mediafire.com/folder/d26tiz7224cj0/HMS_Vancouver The guns were the hardest part, but I pulled through.
  8. So I took out the Arizona to retrain a commander today and noticed a difference in the camo. Me and my clan were talking about the camos on the standard class and the markings on the gun turrets. We noticed how the Arizona had 4 red turret markings which is not realistic. The Arizona had turrets red red blue red. Wows had it all red. Today I found out they changed it to its historical accuracy
  9. Is there a purpose behind the naming of the signal flags? I know some of the naming conventions correlate to the alphabet, Alpha = A, Bravo = B, Charlie = C, etc. But when it gets to SetteSeven, does that represent "77" (Sette I think is 7 in Italian). But what about "SoxiSix" and "Juliet Yankee Bissotwo"? Is that supposed to be "JY22" or "JY2"? What does JY22 even mean? Is there a historic background to the name or does it have a specific meaning to those serving in the naval forces? We know the "Z" flag and "Equal Speed Charlie London" and why they are now famous, but why did Togo and Nelson select those specific flags? I'd love to see WG researchers offer this up as another historic series, similar to what this web author has done: http://tmg110.tripod.com/japan1.htm

    Monarch Review!

Similar to my Myogi review last year - a lot of people don't like this ship. I'll admit it's not OP, and I even had a rough start... but I've come to enjoy her a lot. Enjoy or don't enjoy
  11. So, I'm sure a lot of you may have noticed that by the time they sank, all the Kongo Fast Battleships looked pretty different from each other. After I had bought the Kongo a few months ago, though, I was sort of confused. You see, the Kongo looks like this... But the ingame Kongo looks like this! Should/could Wargaming fix this? I also saw some arpeggio ships still sailing around, and all of the Kongo sisters there are reskinned. Does it even matter to anyone? Personally, I would love to see our real Kongo.
  12. Ok so i was one of those players expecting Tirpitz to have some of his plenty of historical camos. Now Im seeing that it has a new one resembling a ground alike that the real one had, but badly made and with wrong colors(different grades of gray instead of green and brown like it really was). Same with scharnhorst, while cool, it never existed and even the snowy should be having the wavy camo faintly seen under it, that it had on its last journey. Also other models like z23 having a wrong premium one. Why this lack of detail? Now, talking about the z23 as an example, there is anniversary camo with more XP and considerations than the premium doubloon-paid . Thing is, i know this is an arcade game and most players dont care about having a manga captain, clownish and childish camos, planes flying on cyclones, radars waving through ground, lack of short-underwater hits, fantasy fire ignition and disproportionate dmg, antigerman bias, OP US BBs, never bouncing US shells (like german ones, US chells and even the SH were good at penetrating at 60° angle...but damn), ships that never had radars equipped with, etc. But for some of us, who have been for years in serious forums about battleships and in between archives of the real stuff, would be awesome if we can apply certain camo or use the given bonus ones, but choosing to see another one like the premium or a serious one instead a colorful. I know i can install mods but considering im paying into this game, it´ll be a nice feature to count with that possibility. Cheers to all Sebastian.
