Like I did in an earlier topic on the Kraken Unleashed achievement, I'm going to invite bragging here....I had 416 in 6,278 randoms for a 0.066 per mission average (rounding down) when I started this thread....By now I've got a 0.067 per mission (rounding up) average with 439 out of 6,569....So I guess I've improved a tick since the OP. But who holds the record?

3 man Div, Tier 5. Myself and one of my divmates @novalesk gets a First Blood simultaneously. While I've seen a First Blood simultaneously on the Green and Red teams, I've never seen one on the same team and certainly not in the same Div. Another clanmate thinks this is pretty rare. So, how rare is it?

first blood How closely related to WR is the First Blood achievement, anyway?

....I've started to keep a tally of how frequently the First Blood achievement leads to victory for a given side....My hypothesis is that WR = roughly 2/3 and that over time it will trend closer to 2/3 because if I'm right further data will show a closer and closer relationship with the 66.67% mark. ....The early data is of course very limited, but in my last 21 battles FB has led to exactly 15 victories. .....One analogy for gamblers/handicappers/athletes etc. is that in baseball, the first run scored typically leads to victory 2/3 of the time....So I'll be gathering data on how likely it is we're looking at a similar beast here, irrespective of the current meta and other variables that're going to be chaotic and hard to pin down given the variance of opinion, experience, and the way the WoW universe tends to change over time. ....any help on your part will be greatly appreciated....gl hf.
