  1. I just finished playing Raptor Rescue in my Rahmat and I finally hit Cap's boat with 2 (deepwater) torpedoes. His boat appearance changed to "damaged" (which doesn't happen when hit with any type of shell), but I didn't get the "Insert Coin" achievement. Edit: this was at the mid exit zone, not the lower or upper one. This is because of maybe one of four things: The achievement is no longer given out You have to use regular torpedoes (in which case don't show damage to Cap's ship -- bug) The achievement is bugged because I was using deepwater torpedoes The achievement is only given out when you hit him at the lower exit zone* Regarding #4 -- I thought that originally Cap only showed up at the lower exit zone and that was the only place to get the achievement. But then recently he was showing up in the mid (I never had the chance to see if he showed up at the upper) exit zone. I assumed then that because he showed up at mid (and I'm assuming upper) that you had the opportunity to score the achievement in those two spots as well. Anyone else?

    Legendary screenshot wanted

This is an old screenshot I was looking everywhere in the last days, but with 0 success. It was from an incident where a Benson rammed a GK and survived to earn the Die-Hard Achievement. This event caused several players to search, test, experiment in an attempt to figure out how the ramming mechanic really worked to explain how something that was considered impossible... was possible. I wanted to find it so I could show new players that never saw that moment, I made several search strategies and not even a clue... Does anyone here on the forums by any chance has the screenshot to share? I know there was a clip as well, but if I'm far from the screenshot, it would be even harder to find the footage from the gameplay.
  3. I got this achievement around 1am PST, on 8/27, while using the Minotaur in random battles in the PT server. Anybody know what this means?
  4. The achievement rework is a change which I believe has effected the entire player base. Whether you're a average player, a competitive player, or a co-op player this rework has undoubtedly effected your signal earnings. This change has benefitted those who primarily play co-op while screwing over average, and competitive players. I'm not against co-op players having a way to gain signals for free, however, this should not mean that those who primarily play randoms/ranked/CB's earn a significantly reduced amount of signals. Of course that is just my opinion but the point of this poll is to gather the opinions of the forum community. For me this change has meant that I'd have to be extra stingy with my use of signals as I've earned, and it has also completely removed the fun/excitement I got when I obtained an achievement as they no longer have any actual rewards associated with them. As Dr_Venture has pointed out achievements have become like a "gold star" with no actual value. Ultimately, I hope this change is reversed as I believe it would be for the benefit of the community overall, and it seemed to me the previous system was fine.
  5. In this World of Warships replay, I earn the Die Hard achievement with an Akatsuki ! I also provide a little history of the class, some build advice, and offer some tactical advice playing Destroyers, especially when up-tiered. The Die Hard is earned at the 6:00 min mark Enjoy this fun match of us playing T7's in a mainly T9 match...
  6. I am beating a dead horse but a World of Tanks style, based on the war bonds system in world of warships gives you steel instead of bonds what do yo think?
  7. As 0.7.6 came out with new economy system, "Coal" and "Steel" are new currency that you can earn by playing game. You can earn coal via set of missions and containers while steel you need to be competitive to be able to earn it at the moment, which only good and experienced player can get (as it should be). However, some player cannot participate into competitive mode like "Ranked" or "Clan Battle" for whatever reasons they are quite "off" from earning a steel, thus solution I proposed here is making steel earnable through achievements in random mode (still require you to "get good" and working on it) with much less amount of steel. You still need to work for very long time compared to fighting through either ranked or clan battles Right now, we had a good amount of achievements in this game and I shall rate of steel drop as such. let me begin! Achievement will be earned every time you earn it "First Blood": 1 "Devastating Strike": 1 "Die Hard": 2 "Fireproof": 2 "Unsinkable": 2 "Close Quarter Expert": 2 "Arsonist": 3 "Liquidator": 3 "Double strike": 3 "It's Just A Flesh wound": 3 "High Caliber": 5 "Confederate": 5 "Witherer": 5 "AA Defense Expert" or "King of the Air": 5 "Dreadnought": 5 "Kraken Unleashed": 10 "Solo Warrior": 20 And Each achievement that specially earned via campaign in special occasion should be rewarded as coal or steel as WG devs see fit Also, to prevent sealclubbing as top player may go down toward low tier and farm those achievements from "less skillful playerbase" and "I'm new here", Steel through Achievements can only be earned from T5 and above. With this, It will allow playerbase to be able to work their way earning steel without getting into competitive scene but much longer time commitments than those who participate in such a competitive mode. And we shall meet again
