  1. Hello Everyone! There has been some commotion on how hard Raptor Rescue is. If it is not played the right way, it will be very hard. If it is played the right way, it will become enjoyable. This is what happened to me with Raptor Rescue because I kept on playing the wrong way. There are several ways to win at Raptor Rescue and enjoy it at the same time. Below are some tactics I have learned from trial and error with this operation. First: Get a good team. Raptor Rescue is not designed for lower than average players. Every time I played Raptor Rescue in the past, I kept on losing because my teammates were not good players. Many of them got destroyed at the beginning of the game, which is generally the scenario you will be in if you have a lower than average team. You will know if you have a good team by the survivability of your teammates. If the team loses half of its players near the beginning, good luck on finishing the mission. Personally, I have only won this mission with 5 stars when most of my team was still alive at the end. Another suggestion is to make a division with people you know that are good players. That way, you will have a good chance of winning instead of teaming up with players who might be horrible at the game. In addition, choosing your teammates lets you decide what ships to have on the team(see below). Second: Get a good ship. Getting a good ship is key to winning in this operation. I have tried several ships and I have found the best was the Pensacola. Pensacola has a good reload rate and its guns are powerful enough for this operation. it also has great maneuverability to dodge torpedoes thrown from planes, cruisers and destroyers. Players need a ship that will survive in the game and has good artillery to beat the enemy. Pensacola has just that. Of course, I have not tested any light cruisers so they might be good in-game as well. As a side note, I do know that the Atlanta and Helena are great for Operation Narai. Please note that when I say that you should choose the Pensacola, I don't mean that it is the only ship that can be played on this operation. Other people might disagree with me and say that the New Mexico is a good ship for the mission. All these ship suggestions for Raptor Rescue are from my own observations. Some might say, why not aircraft carriers? On the contrary, the team needs an aircraft carrier on the team. Air support is great in this operation and gives a little break to the allied forces on the water. Third: Protect Raptor and the repair ships. One of the most common things that many people do(I have been one of those people) is to disperse and leave Raptor by himself. This is a dangerous mistake as the enemy will leave no chance to destroy Raptor. I am not saying that the team should stick in formation or get very close to Raptor, but the team should not be scattered all over the map. On many occasions, I have seen players attack ships(especially carriers) that are very far away from Raptor leaving Raptor wide open to the enemy. Far away ships can be taken care of with a CV and that is one of the reasons why the team needs an aircraft carrier. What about the repair ships? They are important to protect as they help with the repairs, but Raptor is the top priority for protection because if he gets destroyed, the entire operation is a failure. And this brings me to point number 4. Fourth: One of the biggest mistakes that players is to not get into the repair circle that gets activated when Raptor gets fixed. The repair circle is a huge help that every player should take advantage of. Without it, players will have a slim chance of winning. Of course, there is a certain way to use the repair circle or it will be an obstacle instead of a help to the operation. Don't hog the circle and prevent your other teammates from entering the repair area. This also brings up another issue. Don't block Raptor or the repair ships. On several occasions, I have seen a cruiser enter the repair circle and sticks to Raptor like a parasite. He slowed Raptor down and that made us easy targets for the enemy. In addition, some people accidentally crash(I have personally done this before) into Raptor or the repair ships. This slows the convoy down and adversely affects the mission. Likewise, in one Raptor Rescue game I played, I encountered a battleship protecting Raptor by sticking to Raptor from the side to protect him from enemy fire. The problem with this tactic was that it slowed down Raptor. But the idea that the battleship used was a good one. Instead of sticking to Raptor, the player can leave a small gap between himself or herself and Raptor. In that way, the player can shield Raptor from incoming fire without slowing him down. I would also suggest that this tactic gets used with two ships to protect Raptor from both sides. Hopefully, these tips will help out players who are having trouble with this operation. Let me know if you know anymore good tips for this operation.

    Severly Confused

OK.. I know for the fact that Stalingrad will be purchase able after 0.7.8 kicks in. However, today I just saw a player playing Stalingrad and this got me confused. So I started checking the current Arsenal ( which I didnt find the ship anywhere) and checked this players profile on the web and it shows 0 matches found. Then I check if hes 1 of the CC which is obviously not and I'm certain hes not a ST. This bears the question. How the heck this guy acquire this ship so fast. Due to forum rules I can not share who this guy is but hes in the OPG clan. Knowing this clan he may probably got the resources to buy the ship but since WG stated this ship will be released in 0.7.8 I dont know how the hell he got this ship. If the devs want a unedited Screen shot, I have it prepared.
