  1. There is not a specific amount of time, I'm going to try to get to reviewing them this week. But, no promises.
  2. The application is available https://forum.worldofwarships.com/topic/214925-community-contributor-applications-spring-2020/
  3. Hey there, @IsThatreallyTheplan If you go into the Discord App, and click the plus at the bottom, copy that link in and see what happens. Let me know!
  4. Do you make content on World of Warships? Maybe a blog, podcast, stream or video channel? Do you feel like you help other players on their naval conquests? Would you like to review and showcase upcoming content for World of Warships? Sounds like you might be a fit for the Community Contributor Program, and it just so happens, we are pleased to announce the Spring Round of CC Applications for 2020! Not sure what a CC does? Check out the list of our current CCs to get a feel for the caliber of the content we are looking for: Think you're ready to apply? Review the requirements below and leave us a post with your response. The Spring round of CC applications will open until the End of May. What to include in your application: Tell us about yourself - anything you want, we want to get to know you! Tell us what you want to achieve by joining the program and why you are applying! Include links to all of the channels you use (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace(just joking), Blog, etc.)! Include your discord tag, as this will be our main communication tool. Don't have one? Get one here! If you feel like doing that, and want to possibly save time for the future, please also include: Your T-shirt size Your date of birth (Date and Month only, year not required) Please make sure you include all of these elements, it saves considerable time in the assessment of applicants! How do we choose community contributors? The criteria are simple! Quality and originality of your content The potential we see in what you are doing The number of followers and subscribers on your channels If we see that you make great content but are lacking subscribers, we're still interested IMPORTANT: Submissions without any already created content on World of Warships will be dismissed. We believe that the Program is best for those who already made their first steps into World of Warships content creation. While we do want to promote players new to content creation and just beginning their journey down that particular road, we do expect to see your commitment in the form of content produced on your own. Base requirements are: YouTube - Monthly average of 300 or more views per video/stream on YT and 1200 total monthly views for the last 90 days. or, Twitch - Have an average of 30+ viewers per WoWs stream on Twitch & a minimum of 2 streams a month for the last 90 days. If your content is of another media, it will be assessed separately - please provide appropriate statistics as part of your application. Suggested for Website: Visitor hits, visitor growth, etc Suggested for Podcasts: Download rates, number of listeners, etc Even if you do meet these requirements, it does not constitute a guaranteed acceptance into the Program. The regional manager will then assess your application and supporting content, and make a decision on your application. This can take some time to occur, however, once completed the decision will be communicated to you over Forum PM. If you are declined, we will provide you some advice and areas to work on going forward. Disclaimers: Please ensure that you have carefully read and accepted all the information here. This thread is running in feedback mode, so you will only be able to see your own post. Due to the number of applications, and the time required to review all applications thoroughly, we will prioritize contacting those accepted or shortlisted, first. If you have been previously declined, please ensure you have addressed the reasons why previously given to you. We will be judging you based on your provided answers and your content. Dropping names is not necessary. If we decline your application in the Spring Round, you will be able to apply again in the next Summer Round of Applications. Not sure what your application should look like? Check out the example below: (You can add more but the minimum should look something like this)
  5. If you're using the Microsoft Store build of the game your experience won't change.

WGC: Log in to Experience It All

I've been around, I started a new account when I started working at WG. I understand why some people may not want this - I worked very closely on this very topic at my last company. I'll ask the questions you've posed regarding Steam migration, I cannot say for certain. Regarding the installing on c:\, I'll poke around in the morning and figure out why that might be, but I agree with you, I'd prefer to be able to install it on whatever drive I'd like. I understand launchers, stores, etc, differ from person to person as opinions go, personally, I am not as concerned about how I get into the game as when I get into the game - but that is me. Above all of this, I ask everyone to remain civil, and not turn this into attacking people, regardless of what side of the fence their opinion about this change is.

Hey all, Thanks for your feedback on the rollout of the launcher. While obviously some of you are for, and some of you are against it, we'll continue to make improvements on the launcher, and, as issues arise, we'll address them. That said, I am not going to try to make you believe my words when I say I personally enjoy the launcher - I work here, I am sure it sounds like I am toeing the corporate line or something, but honestly, I have personally not had an issue with it, on my home PC, work laptop, or personal laptop, so I'm interested in what has caused the issues that have been mentioned in this thread. Please, if you do install the launcher, and you experience an issue contact our CS team, or drop a thread in Support, and we'll look into it.

So WG cut half exp from Narai? (PT)?

Thank you for the feedback. We will work to be more diligent in sharing information that we can when we are able to.
  9. So, what are you looking for then?

So WG cut half exp from Narai? (PT)?

While I cannot speak directly to the process that goes into these kinds of changes - understanding the landscape of things as it relates to design plans is a critical part of it. I don't know that I have ever worked for a studio that made changes based on how they 'feel'. This is kind of an answer without being an answer, but not out of wanting to ignore it, but because game development is never black and white.
  11. That is a bit more of a challenge - changing the past or making sure things in the future are more inline with design.

You're not wrong. But, it was also not done out of malice. We will continue to evaluate balance, and changes to things, and make changes as needed.

Hey all, Just catching up on the thread. We're balancing the economy of our operations. Those details will be outlined in our patch notes for 9.3 along with some bug fixes coming to operations like bot pathfinding. Sorry for the delay in sharing this info with you.
