  1. As others have said, the best thing to do might be to snap-shot, do in-game report and then use the snap-shot for filling a ticket later. But really just do whatever you feel is best; no one else is a more legitimate arbiter of what's best for you than yourself. It would be lovely if everybody on both sides said no and just exited the game right then and there, but people aren't like that, so tickets is all you got. I totally get the emotion to go ram and I think I may have done that too back when I was a little greener, but it doesn't help anything. Also, if you think the owners of war games cares about anything beyond profit and their own short term self interest, you may need to lower your expectations as I have.
  2. OK I got it installed and working. I've tried to install in that 1991370 build id before without success, but this time I selected the option "do you want to delete old ..... " I don't remember now exactly what it said but I selected it and it still said can't find the game but I tried install anyway and it worked.
  3. Steamapps\common\World of Warships\bin\1991370 gets me "World of Warships does not seem to be installed in that folder. Continue anyway? Yes No" the 1991370 number is the last and most recent number. That is the last build id right?
  4. When I put it in the Steam\....\bin\[lastbuild id] it says it can't find world of warships.
  5. Unable to install. Installer says can't find world of warships. The path I'm using is Steam\steamapps\common\world of warships\bin\[lastbuild id]\resmods\ inside the resmods folder is a readme that says this is where you place mods. I have also tried installing in the last build id thing which the last folder of those folders that have numbers for the name. It always says it can't find where the game is installed.
  6. Finish a battle and press exit to port and the computer shuts down. Anybody ever hear of this? Any clue? Happened 3 times today.
  7. Who's played the Anshan a bunch, likes it OK and what capt. skills do you run? I have 1/16 right now and thinking about the last four. I've PT, EM, LS, SE, BFT, CE so far. What about the last 4 points? Thinking about DE and PM for the last 4 or should I just go with AFT?

Who Actually Loves this game as is 5/19/19

Game is problematic for sure and could be less predatory if owned by the players.
  9. Is no one going to bother about saying where and what you paste it on?
  10. I want to transfer a captain with 2/8 skill points. Two of the points are not yet assigned and eight points are already assigned. Will the captain loose those 2 points if I transfer the captain to another ship?
  11. I'm newish, less than a 1000 random battles done. Mostly working on tier 4 ships and their captain's skills. I have no idea if I would like being a carrier captain or not. Looks like a very different endeavor. However as much as I like the dds, cruisers, and bbs, I bet I could get better at all of those if I also learned carrier skills. So when should a player start doing carriers?

I guess I don't know how to play anymore.

While you are thoughtful about Russian oligarchs don't forget to consider the American oligarchs who do much to shape everything we all think, feel, and say. In spite of that may I suggest that for better player satisfaction, a 100% player owned WoW might be ideal. I know not likely, but perhaps barely possible. I must dream at least.

May be of interest to some.

Thanks, I will try that when or if my buttons get unfrozen. (red instead of brown)

May be of interest to some.

Should buttons ever become unfrozen, I still have found no clear explanation of exactly what order things must be done, battles, missions fought, and buttons pressed in order to do all chains and all "Daily Mission, easy, normal, and hard. I have noticed and read accounts of others having similar problems here in this forum and to date no one has clearly explained how it is all to be done. Typically the comments are overly concise and lacking in sufficient detail.
