    Dockyard: the Rules Made Simple

I think it's crazy that they even had this idea of doing this in the way they did. I'd fire the Project manager for this, or remove them from that area within the company. If the heads of the company were OK with this, then they need to be replaced. They want you to go thru all this in an insane time nobody has, with money that could buy many other, possibly better ships on top of that, which would normally pay for a T10 ship 2-3 times over. I was going to get some doubloons but it makes no sense to spend them on this and lose all you paid for and not have a chance to finish it. This is the worst Public Relations event I can think of a company doing. It's like saying buy a lottery ticket and you could win, yeah for the one person with no life who had the time to become a keyboard zombie for weeks and still may not get the ship. It's not worth it, it's a scam. I like the game, and some of the things they do, but I no longer recommend the game to people and explain this event as the time on the calender that the company and the game started going downhill. Just being honest, this sucks as a player and I'm so sorry for those players who paid for doubloons and in the end get nothing for all that work and money put into this 'FREE' event. Worse thought out idea they have ever come up with. I hope for better ideas in the future with thought out objectives that are reasonable, mainly timelines and costs to people with real jobs and families. This is absolutely horrible for the players.
  2. I hope you make it to Little Rock one day for the ships there too. I love that you do these type of activities. At the Little Rock Arkansas river museum, there are two special ships there, plus other artifacts. One of the original ships from Pearl Harbor is there from the start of the war, and one from the end of the war that was in Tokyo Bay. http://aimmuseum.org/ https://www.littlerock.com/little-rock-destinations/uss-razorback-submarine USS Razorback, a Balao-class submarine of the Sandlance variant, was built at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. Her keel was laid on 09 September, 1943. Razorback was constructed in Drydock #1 at the shipyard, and she was launched, along with two sister ships (USS Redfish (SS 395) and USS Ronquil (SS 396)) on 27 January, 1944. USS Scabbardfish (SS 397) was also launched at the shipyard that day. This was the largest single-day launch of US submarines ever. Razorback conducted five combat patrols during World War II, sinking Japanese vessels, capturing Japanese POWs and rescuing American pilots who had been shot down. At the end of WWII, she was one of only 12 submarines selected to be present in Tokyo Bay when the Japanese surrender was signed. USS Hoga (YT-146) is best known for her actions during the Pearl Harbor attack on December 7, 1941. Getting underway within 10 minutes after the first Japanese bombs fell, she went to work rescuing sailors in the water, fighting fires, and pulling ships out of harm’s way. Hoga pulled the repair ship USS Vestal away from USS Arizona‘s burning hull, assisted the damaged minesweeper USS Oglala and the battleship USS Nevada. She fought fires on the Nevada as well as the battleships USS Maryland, USS Tennessee, and USS Arizona. In all, Hoga spent 72 continuous hours fighting fires. Hoga is most recognized for pushing the sinking USS Nevada to safety and preventing her from blocking the narrow channel. For her work, Hoga, her commanding officer, and his crew received a commendation from ADM Chester A. Nimitz, Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet. World War II Service Following the attack, Hoga was pressed into additional duty clearing debris and assisting with salvage efforts on the many sunken and damaged vessels. She also continued her primary duty of assisting vessels into and out of their berths. With some of the better guides there, some really great information comes out. Hope to see you list this on a future tour and see you there. CorvetteLTx

    Public Test - 0.8.11 - Bugs

Same as above. Happened to me three times now. After I a game in random, I cannot get back to port. I had to run task manager and kill the WoW.exe process to shut the game down.
  4. Have you considered going to Little Rock for the Ark River exhibits of the Razorback submarine, parts of the CGN Arkansas, and a tug/auxiliary ship that was at Pearl Harbor? What is interesting about it, is that there is the oldest WWII vessels there, and the newest I'm told. The Tug was at Pearl Harbor and helped fight fires of the ships there after the attack, and the sub was at the Japanese surrender in Japan. And you'd be close enough for me to drive up if you did and attend. Since I'm rather local, I could also help with any facilities you guys needed, to stay, eat, etc.. as I was born and raised there before my Air Force career, and now back in that area. Best wishes, it's a thought to consider. I have info and pictures of all if needed or interested.
  5. There are a lot of memories for this old Air Force flyer that likes playing these ships. But the ones that may stand out the most was when our team was down, and somehow, RNG liked me or something and my little DD, think it was a Fletcher or a Kitakaze went on a rampage. With the enemy ships position, and my positioning allowing massive amounts of damage from guns and torps. Enough where it really carried the team, and I was constantly asked how many hits and damage do you have now from teammates. What made it stand out was the all the special awards in the game, but it was after the game that I got what really brings this memory.... seven compliments in one game. Never happened before in that number and may never again. But when you have that many people in a match take notice, it must have really stood out. It did for me. I'm sure I have the screen shots around here somewhere. Not sure what to ask for, we all need steel but it isn't available, and I don't need any more Premium days with over 700 left, but I'd love to get the new DD from Europe also, but any configuration would be nice, but being honest, I'll bet all prizes have been given out by now and I'm still happy with a fun game. It's more fun when you win!

    Dry Dock: Kremlin

I love this new idea and the artwork, which I think is incredible, both on the ships and the islands in many maps. I'd like to see the Missouri and the Alabama, but thinking it would be interesting on the ones that still exist that there is a split screen at times on the video which shows the same view on the real one, and the on the other screen your artwork which to me is pretty AMAZING. Love the artwork, you make ships wonderfully. Thanks for the continued work on fixing things and making art more accurate where you can as we go.
  7. It's a game so let's have fun with it. Since you can't see what the other players are seeing or what's on their screen, be thoughtful on comments. Too many times I see people getting text beat over their play when there is a reason for their actions. You don't know if they're detected, radar, sonar, etc... so let's just enjoy the game and realize, it is a game. It's OK if you make a mistake, or mess up from time to time. We're all human and none of us are perfect. I look forward to helping any team I'm on win.
