No need. I've rarely, if ever, disagreed with Pulicat or Gaishu on matters of balance and such. Furthermore, they're both better players than I am with a more comprehensive knowledge of the game.

And that's something I wish WG would change. I used to think that DD rewards were just fine, but that's in large part because I engage other DDs and win those matchups more often than not. That results in good XP. The average player has a 50-50 chance of winning those knife fights. As such, my perception of DD rewards isn't aligned with the reality for most players. Meanwhile the capping rewards have been slashed and things like spotting ships/torps or smoking allies have never been rewarded appropriately. In short, WG needs to add a more comprehensive reward structure that encourages teamplay.

Similarly, it's not evil to suggest radar should exist in some form. A more moderate approach is probably something that 99% of people could agree on. Unfortunately, internet arguments are very en vogue.

I envision a large family where all the little kids demand ice cream for dinner every night while Big Sister says it's a bad idea. Meanwhile, Dad is still at work bringing home bacon (literal and metaphorical). Yes, the little kids have the majority, but Big Sis (credible players) probably has a clue, and Dad (WG) is too busy to bother with the children's antics.

If SBMM could be implemented in a way that would improve the MM experience without compromising other aspects, I'd be 100% in support of it. However, I'm not sure anyone can prove conclusively that MM is the cause of any retention issues that may exist. Nor do I think said changes would improve toxicity. Toxic people will be toxic no matter what.

People like Z1m care about the game, so they're opposed to ideas that would harm it. Trying to paint good players with a broad "elitist" brush the way you are is disingenuous. You should try addressing the points he and others make rather than attacking the individuals making them.

Do tell on why it is you are so against it if not for your stats? I'd love to hear this tale. There's nothing else that would change. So yes do tell. New flash. Some people with "good stats" actually care less about them than some people with "bad stats". Being good at the game doesn't make you an elitist. Elitists and stat-mongers come in all different shapes, sizes, and skill levels.

lol Yeah, the dynasty they created really was the perfect storm. The greatest quarterback and the greatest coach feasting on one of the worst divisions every year. A different, QB, different coach, or different division would likely have yielded very different results. Props to them for making the most of it.

I'm curious to see what Belichick could do in NE without him. He had a pretty bad record pre-Brady.
