    CV Rework Feedback

My Impressions with CV Rework: Planes are more detailed and the AA flak fire and the explosions clouds are more numerous and stay longer which adds to the realism. Both are a plus. At first I wasn't sure how to steer the squadron in the desired direction, but eventually I got the hang of it. Same with aiming the ordnance at the target ship. (Just use the circular target reticle for rocket and dive bombers and the V-shaped reticle for torpedo bombers. It takes practice). The only major caveat I have are the fighters. If there can't be fighter squadrons that the player can steer at will, it should either be: a Short-duration/Unlimited quantity consumable, or, a Long duration/Limited quantity consumable. I prefer the latter. What is the engine cooling consumable for? I didn't have any use for it. Finally, I would have liked for WG to have included both Langley and Hosho in the test.

One more thing: How will these new features affect Ise and Tone if when they are eventually introduced in the game?

Planes could still use some more visual TLC, but I'm with you on the first points.
steering is still an issue for me, they feel sluggish, but maybe that'll change or we'll get a captain skill for increased manoeuvrability later on.

And if we get hybrid ships, I'm thinking they might be a targeted ability or just AoE like current battleship fighters. If they're targeted they then fly at the target and drop like what we already have for carriers, but they won't return. They'll be a cooldown ability like smoke or radar; you'll fling em out, they do their thing, then they fly off.

Actually, hell, I might be onto something here...

I'm feeling time displaced... Am I post-Battle of Endor, or Pre-Battle of Yavin?
