    Yes you can do that but then the camo gets dismounted and you don't get the bonuses of the camo. So it's either see that awful camo and get the bonuses or don't use it if you don't want to see it.

    Thanks guys...while I appreciate the free camo, an option to have it mounted as a normal look would be welcome. Not a fan of the whole monster look....
  5. Anybody knows if you can have a regular looking version of the Infernal camo? By that I mean that I have one linked to a ship but I hate the look of these camos (thankfully I didn't pay for it). I have a Benham and can choose between the "rogue wave" camo or the "classic" camo. Don't have that option for the Infernal camo. When I untick Halloween camos in the carousel, it demounts the Infernal camo automatically... Am I stuck with this look if I want the bonuses?

    That's your answer to my questions to WG as to why this patch went through QC? Please be serious. A company that pushes a live a patch that affects so many players that it has to issue a hotfix by the end of the week, has some serious QC problems. You make no sense. Like WG QC is one guy trying this patch on his client and saying "OK it's fine let's push it" because the patch is fine for him. That's a scary thought if that's the case. I've worked on server side software releases. That a small bug manages to pass or something minor sure. Happens all the time. Those are small mistakes. But this shouldn't have gone live. Even Suboctavian said that they were still seeing problems in the second phase of testing but because it was less than the first phase they thought is wasn't serious. That answer in itself shows how bad they needed to push the patch out even if it wasn't ready. That's a problem. Anyway, hope the hotfix works fine and everyone will be happy.

    Thank you for the info and taking care of this. I do have a question. How does something like this gets released live when all you had to do was play a single game on pts to see something was wrong with the audio? Do you guys play your game with the patch before release? Do you read the feedback provided by pts? I can tell you that I would lose my job or have a serious meeting with my boss if I would release a sound patch that has so many bugs. I have to say I'm quite baffled by the fact that this patch passed Quality Control.
  10. Fem, It was defective on pts... I thought it was just because of pts and it would be fixed in the actual patch. Nope. WG quality assurance testing is lacking. Anybody that played on the pts server would have noticed that bug. Don't your team play the game with the test patch before it goes live? Doesn't look like it or your testing has serious flaws in the tasks to check. I've worked in software deployment server side and this kind of bug should have been picked up way before the patch went live. This feels rushed and unprofessional. I know you can only pass the message and it's not your fault.

  12. One memory that comes to mind is when I was alone with another teammate and were facing 4 ships in ranked. By working so well together we managed to get the win. We now play together in randoms as well. So out of ranked, I managed to find a great teammate to play with on a daily basis. Rank can be frustrating and I never expected to find a friend during the process. Wish I could get the Georgia!
  13. I imagine that people are happy with the "reduced price" idea but a lot less with the actual rebates. Although I understand it's a good idea, $2-3 discount on a $50 ship is kind of ridiculous. I mean, if I can't afford the $50 price or find it too high to begin with, do you really think discounting $3 on it will change my mind? Nope.

    I would have preferred +- 1 MM for T8 for a certain wait time in queue but I'll take whatever positive change they make to T8 MM. T8 MM is brutal when you end up in T10 matches.
