He was Popeye's best friend until he spied Olive Oyl and became infatuated with her, thus the famous fist to cuffs battle over her heart began. I wish they did it a little differently. I'd have liked to seen Popeye and Bluto strut about the ship in port (kinda like Unsinkable Sam) and the ship artwork show their face near the bow based upon who the captain was (similar to unsinkable sam) I'd think Olive Oyl would have been hilarious as a alternative captain, or Wimpy. I'd love to have the Seahag as a russian captain ;) She was infatuated by Popeye despite Popeye being repulsed by her, and therefor became enemies.

@Ahskance Assuming this is 100% accurate...this flies in the face of the arguments of a lot of folks saying "the game is dead" etc, etc, etc. I agree with @Wolfswetpaws that it would be nice to see the actual Y-axis numbers, but at the same time I can see from the companies side why they don't actually want to release numbers (just like Blizzard with WOW, EA with most of their games, etc.) The problem I'm seeing now is a citing of sources issue.....where are people outside of WG getting their "accurate info" from? I saw the source posted but that site doesn't list where the data came from. So assuming THAT'S 100% accurate, it flies it the face of these graphs posted by WG. I don't know who to believe, but I'm inclined to lean toward WG data since, well....they own the data. That, and the graphs definitely seem to coincide more with world events and the natural life cycle of any game, not just "game updates cause it to crash" or "subs suck, so people left" or "superships killed the game" etc. And for those that say, "well I check in once ever 30 just to see what's up, so this data by WG is skewed", its also a tad hard for me to believe that most of the population just plays 1 game every 30 days... then just does whatever.

Yes, yes it is. Hence why it was super fun during "sprint" ranked when they tested it out, and you could bring along one friend. It was ultra enjoyable and i rarely heard anyone bash on it when you could bring a friend. They mostly just bashed that you couldnt bring more. But that's what Clan Battles are for. Beg to differ. Some people want to be competitive, and get the competitive rewards, but not be in a Clan. Hence why they play Ranked and Ranked Sprint mode. I dont see why it can't be CB lite, allowing you to bring along one buddy.

If i could change just ONE THING about WOWs it would be for Ranked battles. @Ahskance I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, think the game mode would overall improve and be more fun for the community at large if you could go into a Ranked battle with one division mate. It would still be random enough with other players all div'd as well, or flying solo, but at least you'd feel like you could have more of a impact on the outcome of a Ranked battle than it being a dice roll each time no matter how good or bad you play.

Agreed. People, like myself, are tired of the doomsayers with megaphones trying to get others to quit to make their point. Ive listened to some folks who no longer play wows, yet still hang around in the forums, and discord channels (for hours) just to bash on the game to anyone that will listen. Some even go as far as to post negative "I havent play this !@#$ for X number of months, its trash!" on every youtube posting... yet...they still watch the clips or are subscribed! That'd be like me going and spending my free time in my old World of War craft Clan forums and discord bashing how much I don't like World of Warcraft... The logic makes no sense to me, but i guess if thats how you like to spend your free time... my point being... You like the game, play it, don't like it anymore, go play something else. It's what I do. Sure WOWS has its share of issues, ive even voiced a few of my own, but at the core, I enjoy the game for what it was, and currently is. The only time I usually dont have fun is when someone starts going off the rails in chat, or discord, about how much they hate WOWS, while they actively play WOWS.

When a CV enters the battle...your team automatically wins and DDs cannot do anything.
