    Premium Ship Review: Flint

I think it's safe to say that part of the reason Flint is such a capable fighter is because she's in the hands of capable fighters. 3 Rank 1s takes a lot of games and a pretty good understanding of mechanics.

    Premium Ship Review: Krasny Krym

As a "household name" yes some of these ships fail, but as a student of the Eastern Front, I really want to like Krasny Krim, she just doesn't fill a role that justifies spending money on her. Contest for her? I'll be all over it. Rainy day boredom purchase? Okay maybe then. Even then, will she be a go-to ship for play? Never, not compared to Murmansk. Atlanta is gimmicky but fun, this ship just looks gimmicky.

    Premium Ship Review: Krasny Krym

The Russophile in me wants to say yes, the every-other-part-of-me in me will be keeping my wallet closed for now. Nothing about this ship sounds like she'd be worth taking out over Murmansk or Kirov, both of which I have a lot of fun playing.

    Premium Ship Review: Molotov

And then I compare it to Budyonny and I don't want it again.

    Premium Ship Review: Molotov

This is what I have been thinking ever since originally posting that I didn't want it. "Maybe I should grab it now while I can." I played Kirov a bit more this weekend and it's an enjoyable ship. My biggest concern with Molotov is whether it can do a cruiser's job of hunting destroyers. With the tier 9 7" guns I feel like it's a baby battlecruiser, great at fighting other cruisers but maybe not with the RoF or tools for fighting DDs. Sniping doesn't usually fit my playing style either. Gonna have to think about this long and hard.

    Premium Ship Review: Molotov

Thanks for putting this together. I can definitely say that your write-ups help influence my purchasing decisions when it comes to premiums. I feel like Molotov can be skipped for now, not because I feel that it's a bad ship but because I already enjoy Nurnberg which seems to fill a similar role (probably not a similar playstyle though, those Molotov rifles are sexy!) as a kiter.

    Premium Ship Review: HMS Campbeltown

Wow, this sounds like a real challenge of a ship to play, a tough trainer for a line that will take awhile to develop. That being said, shut up and take my money WG!

    Premium Ship Review: USS Saipan

Gonna be a hot time in the old Colorado for a wee bit. This one goes with Lert's conclusion - I want to like it, but the end product just doesn't appeal to me. Like Episode VII. It'll go in the "maybe someday when I take carriers more seriously" file. One thing I think you don't emphasize in your review, though, is that while it's a gimmick carrier, it's a really invaluable captain trainer, not just as a premium but because it's unforgiving, getting good with Saipan will have a steep learning curve but should leave you on a pretty high plateau once you get it figured out. 6 aircraft per squadron should feel like a luxury, no matter how slow, after getting your Saipan on.

How to Control your Win Rate

What would "decent" or "good" stats be? I always wonder if I'm any "good" at the game, but I'm usually too busy loving the heck out of it to see what other people judge as "good" or not. WoT is pretty clear-cut, as I'm usually in the top three XP earners in a game. WoWS is more of a "top half" which I suppose is "better than the bottom half" but what is "good"?

Premium Ship Review - VMF Murmansk

Took her out for a couple games for the event this weekend. Three games, two three-kill games. I love her. She's so versatile, maneuverable, lethal. Not afraid of battleships, destroyers, and even most other cruisers.

    Best premium ever.

Premium Ship Review - Fog Myoko

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sure out of the gate either would be a learning-curve struggle, as a BB man I've not gotten to a heavy cruiser yet.

Premium Ship Review - Fog Myoko

In your SIMS review we had discussed how SIMS and ATAGO were so indicative of their respective warship lines that it really made working down those lines unneccessary, as both were kinda the quintessential experience of their line. Before dropping cash on ATAGO, would you say ARP MYOKO would give about the same experience for Japanese light cruisers?

Premium Ship Review -- Fog Kongo

Thank goodness, thank you Mouse for this review! Not an anime fan so I wasn't excited about this but thought "hey, free premium ship" . . . now I can safely skip it unless it just happens from regular gameplay (which it still might).
