I was reading the Bible right now and a really powerful verse poped out to me. 

 John 8:56. In the context of the chapter; Jesus was debating the Pharisees and scholars, one of the questions that was raised was about Abraham. So in this verse Jesus gave a message that is really important for understanding  God's salvation, and opens for the readers' a little peak into who Jesus is.
