    Game Crashing

If you are directly connected to your router check what kind of cable you have. A cat 5 will cause more interference if other electronics are located nearby. If you own a cat 5, I recommend you upgrade to a cat 6. After that, if you are still having problems it might be an isp issue or a pc issue. Good luck sir!

I see 3 as a problem as I don't think that will have much of an effect game play wise. Reducing the # of radar consumables held by said cruiser would be more effective in my opinion. #4 I would say just have very nerfed radar versus that posed on cruisers. #5 is a MM factor that I don't think can be implemented without creating long wait times (Unless you just mean put a cruiser with the capabilities of having radar in that slot).

Sounds like a good idea, but only 1 problem. Wargaming's ship render time is horrid and would have to be changed before this was applied to radar. If the render time was down to 1-2 seconds this "flicker" solution would work perfectly, as it lights up the target for a certain amount of time as it rotates around. Other than that I like it :D

Was a response to someone's quote, not intended to be serious....

I used "very" incorrectly as it is stronger than what I meant it to be.

I misunderstood and re-read the post again. I get it. :D Best buff for dd? Probably turret traverse on Japanese DDs. Would make them more useful while maneuvering.

Its very possible to fight a cruiser in a destroyer (guns only) and still get out alive even with others shooting at you. It might just take a skilled captain to learn the necessary skills to pull it off. I would be happy to show but I don't record my game play.

True But you can still limit the damage you take as a destroyer by turning back and forth constantly depending on when a ship has fired. If you get the timing right, you can limit the damage taken and run the cruisers radar dry at the same time. I guess its more of a skill based issue versus a game play one.

Well... not entirely since you can try and kite away and have the cruiser chase you just to be mauled by a few torpedoes or, you can open up the distance with said cruiser, making you a harder target to hit at ranges.

T10 already has this capability so how would it be applied to the lower tiers without making them overpowered. I think long rage torpedo spam takes away from the role of playing a destroyer (except the Japanese dds).

Understandable, I am grasping the points being made by you guys. So what would be a solution to this?

low tiers (2-6(depending on MM)) don't have to worry about radar anyways.

Like I said in my post, just a thought, no matter how stupid it may sound. I don't think radar needs to be changed and "chaff" is a bad idea, but there are ways to tweak the functionality for radar so that it isn't stupidly broken, I.E going through islands....

Why would you need torpedoes for VFM DDs anyway? They are designed for mid-long range gunnery combat and rarely need to use their torpedoes anyway to have an impact. Plus, low tiers (2-6(depending on MM)) don't have to worry about radar anyways.
