I work the weekend and as such had planned to finish the directives for the T6 container based on the information in the 0.8.8 Gifts & Rewards article ( https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/four-years-young/ ) which states directly under the container that the directives will be available until 10PM local time. It's 5PM on the West Coast currently, but I started this whole endeavor hours ago when I signed in to see the directives page "awaiting new orders". Reaching out to support, I was informed that the directives in fact concluded at 3AM this morning, and when pressed I was directed to a much earlier article ( https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/missions-088/ ) stating under Directives that it would end, as support told me, at 3AM this morning. Nevertheless the article stating a 10PM end date is nearly two weeks newer. It's absurd that the information contained in the newest (read: most up-to-date) article isn't just false, but I'm expected to refer to information buried in a much older post instead.
Surely I'm not the only person burned by this either. Support, for their part, didn't even commit to better clarity in the future. It's really frustrating as a player trying to organize time to pursue events around other obligations only for the information given to be wrong right from the source. I've attached some screenshots of the accompanying articles. Perhaps there is an even newer post with the correct update, but I couldn't find it, and for what it's worth support themselves directed me to the older 0.8.8 update article instead.
And yeah, it was just gonna' be a WeeVee... But it was gonna be my WeeVee. Come on. What's going on, here, guys?
